i still don't know where the coil wraps on the positive center post.. in the picture i don't see a seam where it separates… or does it wrap around the whole center post?

I think there was a misunderstanding when i said "flip" the order of things. None of the strata orders are being flipped, its still simplicity, P+, ela,. What is being flipped is the Simplicity 18000 units, we were going to run those this coming week, but flipped them for the strata and the P+ and Simplicity will be run together, since they are nearly identical. This pushes up all the stratas :)

Yep, right there. I wrap a little loop on both ends of my coil first, take off all the posts, slide the coil end loop over the outter post first and screw it in (dont tighten it all the way) then position the other loop over the centerpost hile and screw the post in. Its really easy. Ill get some pics up this week.

and we can fill all that up w juice huh.. looking good

I have 2 thoughts on this..

1) Fill the well area with juice and leave just enough wick in the well area to draw the juice
2) Pack / fill the well area with wick and saturate the wick with juice. Maybe a little extra juice relaxing in the well area but less than in 1)

I am thinking 2 is the best option but who knows?

Leave one or two of the wicks long enough to make a little retaining wall along the body of atty and let the juice pool in the center?

Mind you I have no idea what Im talking about:)

Not sure if that would work..

Take the Fatty with res tank for instance..

The biggest issue with the res tank add on for the fatty was the wick leg dropping down into the res tank. It didn't wick the juice all that well and caused issues.

Now I am not saying the Strata will suffer from that as well but I am inclined to think that packing the well area with long wick legs, then saturating the wick(s) will work best..

My testing unit is scheduled for delivery on Monday and I will be testing all of that out and more.. I won't be posting any findings until David gives us the thumbs up to do so though..

I literally had a dream about the Strata atop my P+ last night. Can't wait!

That being said, in looking at this picture it seems there is a chance that a drip tip could touch the positive post, creating a short. Has this been considered? I am confident it won't be an issue, just curious.

Also, are there plans to send any Stratas off to the international suppliers such as Cloud 9? I am sure there are many international P+ owners that would be interested in this.

gerrrrr, it was a hard decision to make but I ended up posting my P+ 650 FS in hopes of pre-ordering the ELA Strata.

How is one to chose between the P+ and ELA... I love both equally.

Yes it's a hard decision to make. Fortunitly I have my Kayfun and a genni I like for my ELA. The Helios is making me happy on the simplicity so by process of elimination, Satin P+ it is cause I love that mod but have yet to find an atty the just fits it right.

Just a reminder on the Strata for PrecisePlus, we put up 200 of them, but that isn't set in stone, meaning if sales are sluggish on them, we'll cut the production numbers back on them and transfer them over to the ELA ( I want to limit it to 400 total between the two).

What i'm trying to say nicely is, if you are on the fence, don't be hesitating thinking theres a ton left, we'll kill it at a lower number like we did the Shockwave and you'll miss out on ever getting a PrecisePlus integrated rebuildable as we're only going to offer them this one time for the old PrecisePlus's.

Thanks for twisting my arm! Ordered the p+ satin version also!

Innovation indeed.. I just saw a post on FB of a "new" made in the USA dripper Atty.. New huh? The deck looked just like a Nimbus, only difference i could tell was the top cap had a new design to it..

Here at SuperT u dont see these "new" reconditioned attys.. U see tru innovation. We're all headed into a truly new frontier here :)

nothing against super T, and i can't wait for my ELA Strata, but have you seen the origen? a lot of similarities with the strata though I make no accusations.

my guess was that you're talking about the patriot, which I agree is an obvious 22mm version of the nimbus.

The only similarity is the wells. You need vertical coils on the origen and the strata is your usual horizontal coil. And nobody has done the air and temp distribution that the strata has
