A lot of similarities???

Nope!

They both are drippers and they both have juice well... /theend

Yup, I actually got my origen in on Friday. Really nice dripper! But aside from the juice well.. The coils are set up completely different, the airflow is completely different, the top cap is a different design (double o-ring), and it's also prone to leaking when set on its side, which is a bit of a disappointment for me. Even if you're using a single air hole, juice still creeps out of the closed one.

All that said, it's a damn nice dripper, performs really well, looks great, and is machined very well.

You're right. I'm on the list for one, as it is generally considered as the best existing dripper so far and the quality seems outstanding, but le Strata only share the juice well with it and it's not even really the same concept as the Origen has two wells when the Strata only has one but which seems to go deeeeeeeep down the 510 connector. Except for that, as Vaptamist mentioned just above, the Strata brings a whole lot of different things on the table and I honestly think that it could become the best dripper available when it'll hit the market ;)

The only similarity is the wells. You need vertical coils on the origen and the strata is your usual horizontal coil. And nobody has done the air and temp distribution that the strata has

Not true. Origen can be set up as a horizontal coil. In the same respects, the Strata can definitely be built with vertical coils. Outside of that, I agree with what everyone else has said regarding the differences between it and the Strata.

Hope it sells and you are able to score a Strata!!!

Sagged me an ELA Strata!:rickroll:

Order number 17471

Unless some of the P+ pre-orders are transferred over to the ELA, looks like we're getting down to the short strokes. 71 left.

When I lucked into the P+ I really did want to complete a Holy Trinity. Such a hard decision to make, but easy come easy go I guess. Well it's going to a good home, and if I can't complete a trifecta of Strata's, at least I can help another member out.

Didn't know it could be set up each way. I just went by how it looks. However, I am looking forward to your thoughts when you get it in the mail. I hope we get TONS of pics and info from you and the other guys :)

I have an Origen dripper on the way but i could not resist the Strata for the ELA. It will certainly complete it and i will feel warm and fuzzy inside. Thanks for making this David and thank you for making it for all your fine range.

A question though - As you would know the size of the chamber has a lot to do with flavor and other aspects of the vape. Since the ELA is 23mm does this mean the chamber in the ELA Strata will differ in size to the simplicity and P+ Strata's? Or will you just make the walls thicker? Thank you for your time and again thank you for the beautiful ELA.

I wonder if the Stata for ELA will have some sort of exterior design to incorporate the ELA looks to it. Id love to see the same ridges or lines that are on the bottom ring of ELA. :hubba:

I second this anavidfan - although this may stir some envy. I do however like the simplistic form of the Strata but i could see a few lines also complimenting it on the ELA. Thank god I did not miss this. I have been out of the forums for a while since i got the ELA. Hope all is well with you.

Not me. I would prefer clean and sleak. The KFL looks beautiful on top. No ridges there. I don't like things 'too busy'.

Picked up an ela strata in polished to. Also eagerly waiting for my ela which is in the next outgoing shipment! Really excited for the beta testers and their feedback as everything looks promising on this new atty.
Just wondering if the ela version can be tweaked for the cloud chasers out there. Since internal chamber will remain the same I'm assuming the top cap walls will be thicker since OD will be larger on the ela version. If that's the case why not make the air channels larger as well for more airflow? Just a thought. Thanks for everything Dave and thanks to the testers and as well as all if you guys and gals. Who would of ever thought a hybrid mech mod could have this many features!!!

This ^ ;)

Ridges on my ring finger, knurling on my pointer finger. Besides the fact that it looks great the ELA is one of the most comfortable mods to hold IMO.

I think David still has a few things up his sleeve, and the sooner this and the rest of the ELA's get produced the sooner we'll get to see what else he's got for us.

Super-T innovations are going to be the death of me.
I already have a 7 days a week job which is killing me already.
Now i need a second job to keep abreast.

David,

My one request on the Strata is a through hole on the posts. The ability to thread the wire through the post when making coils greatly increases the ease of setup. Especially when building dual and quad coil setups.

I hope that perhaps the beta testers will agree and that this feature can be incorporated into the final Strata build.

Regardless, I will be placing my order today for a polished ELA Strata. I do not want to miss out on this innovation. I'm very very excited for this.

One last question. What style will the integrated drip tip be? I'm hoping for the shorty style myself.

Would be pretty much impossible to do on the center (+) post..

Well the center post is an independent piece. I think that would probably be the easiest one to add the through hole too. I'll wait to see what David has to say. It's not a deal breaker obviously, but if possible, would result in a much more user friendly device in my humble opinion.
