Riverboat: Very cool! Did you ever think you would ever be building coils? I didn't think I would. You guys with your HH357's. (BTW: I tried them. Very nice! Thanks for that.) Me, with my AVA's. Life was good. I resisted this whole rba/rda thing for a long time. But, I am so happy I took the leap!

I figured I would be building coils one day...............when SuperT built a RBA:);)
I tell you since I am a direct dripper EXCLUSIVLY I will always love my HH357's due to the small form factor.. I am using one now that is 4 weeks old it started at 3.1 ohms and unbelievably its still at 3.1 ohms, I have never had one that did not drop in ohms as it aged...Usually a 3.0 ohm HH at 4 weeks would be settled at around 2.4 ohms...I am going to talk to Hanna and see if he changed the wire he uses because this one still is as good as the day I first fired it with great flavor.....I have said it before but the Key to keeping an HH working is not to ever dry burn them, just blow them clear once a day and they keep at their peak performance:vapor:

I still have an HH 357 510 that came as a 2 ohm. After over a year of use on my v1 provari it reads at 1.7 - 1.8 ohms. Gets an alcohol bath and a dry burn bi-weekly. I used to rotate 3, now I just keep the 2 ohm on my Provape1 and an RSST on my Mini. I'm trying to wait patently for the return of the simplicity 18500... And failing miserably. I can't wait until the strata comes out!

was thinking the other day how I couldnt fall in love with RDA's and kept on going with regular attys untill I switched to micro and cotton. HH357 will always be the best dripping atty that one can buy premade but micro and cotton and the ability one has to just replace the wick on the spot and its performance can be as good or better than Hannas creation depending on the builder's skill!
most of the rebuildables need a few tweaks to enhance its performance and Im sure Strata is gonna allow for divine possibilities!!

Has there been any updates on the simplicity version release yet?

Not that I've seen. Eyes/ears are keen to see/hear something soon I hope...

I'm watching too but not just because of the Strata. Been checking the site almost daily for weeks, I was hoping to get one by next week to reward my self for 2 years smoke free. Don't look like that's gonna happen though.

Update: In case you missed it, we are doing some tweaking on the design, chamfering the inside cap to reduce condensation buildup, enlarging the air holes, switching to a shorter center post and using an all brass precious metal plated Rhodium over Gold center post.

Any of you testers using the Strata with flat ribbon? Or is wire the best way to go with it? I prefer ribbon, but judging from the photos it looks like the beta versions are best for wire.

Between all the testers, the Strata has been set up with both ribbon wire (0.8x0.1, 0.5x0.1, and 0.4x0.1) and round wire (26g, 28g, 30g and 32g).
