I had the window open... sorry!
Think I'm going to have to pull the trigger on the Strata for my incoming ELA. Is there any further info on how this is built, or how it performs? Would rather not go through every page to see if more info has been posted.
Just search this thread, go to advanced search, then search for posts by forcedfuel50. That should get you all the real info that's out there about it since the testers are sworn to secrecy, still.

The ELA and Strata will be my first items from SuperT. Pretty excited to see them in person, and see how they perform.

The ELA was my first Super-T. Exceeded any expectations I had. Welcome aboard!
If you get polished, it can be satinized.
I thought about that, but didn't know if David would make it a satin, since it wasn't sold that way.
Hey guys, does anyone know if he will? Maybe, for a charge? Fraghole, I would email to ask.
Whenever it is due for a refinish, just request at that time to be given the satin media blasting. But just know you won't be able to go back to polished if you do.

A good morning TitanRich!
-The 500+ Center Posts are done and away being plated. (these are for all three versions, the ELA, P+ and Simplicity)
-The 1000+ Knurled Thumbscrews are done. (these are for all three versions, the ELA, P+ and Simplicity)
-Working on the bottom half of the Strata (Simplicity and PrecisePlus Version). Should have those done early next week, taking into account being closed for the Holiday.
-Next Up will be the Top Caps and Vortex screws (the Vortex screws will be machined at the same time for all three versions since they are the same). The Goal is to have those done by next weeks end.
-Will follow the Simplicity and PrecisePlus top and bottom caps with the ELA versions of those. The Center posts, thumb screws and vortex posts are/will already be done for those.
It sounds like the design is finalized then correct? Wondering how soon the cone of silence will be lifted. Really excited to hear the testers opinions and see some build pics!
We are still awaiting the revised Strata's and I remain hopeful that it will be the final release.
