Ok I understand. So if I per order now am I good to go?

178 of 200 have been pre ordered hopefully those 22 don't sell out to quik

I could be wrong, but I could have sworn that David decreased the total number of Stratas for this first run down to a total of 500 units: 200 ELA, 200 Simplicity & 100 P+. And since he is planning on revising the P+ line in the near future, this is the one and only time that these will be offered for the current P+.

If he revises the P+ line shouldn't he keep the current Stratas for the P+ compatible? It would only make sense and good business.

Backwards compatibility usually means compromises on moving designs forward. I think the reworked P+ will have changes to the top cap, including the threading which means backwards compatibility isn't possible.

Current P+ owners have been lukewarm when it comes to preordering the strata. After 4 or 5 months they are still not sold out, which means there isn't a huge demand for current P+ owners. A few may miss the boat, but not enough to justify future design compromises.

My prediction is that the new P+ will be compatible with threading on the simplicity, making it laterally compatible, which I think would be a great idea.

Doesn't the strata just thread into the P+, like a hybrid? So, if they re-design the top cap all they need to do is make sure the threads and diameter are the same for the strata.

Yes, but like I said - if they want to significantly redesign the cap and also have lateral compatibility then the older P+ threading isn't an option.

I think it makes a lot more sense to make the new P+ compatible with the simplicity instead of the old P+. Would drastically increase production ability and people could swap their strata or kiklet from their P+ to their simplicity, etc.

At this point the P+ strata had been available for almost half a year and less than 80 have been pre-ordered? Not enough interest to justify compromising design and production.

Sounds good. Thanks for the info. I'm really interested in the P+ and can't wait to see how they redesign it. I was told by SuperT by email that around the April timeframe we should expect to see a release or pre-order for the P+.

Correct, The new P+ (sometime this spring) will have new threading, so these P+ stratas currently for sale only fit the existing P+ 18000 line. We only did a 100 of them, once they are gone, they are gone.

Thanks for confirming. Can't wait for spring time to hopefully get my hands on a P+ and join the SuperT Fam! I've been searching around for my first high end mech and I think the P+ is the winner...for now at least...
