I believe David said that a Ti version was possible, but probably unlikely. If it was made it would be pretty expensive. Having seen the strata first hand, I can see how it would be very difficult and expensive to pull off. The air channels in the top cap would be difficult to machine, and so would machining out the reservoir in the bottom. There would be some trial and error, probably a large number of broken tools, and then to really make them at a palatable price point, you'd want to machine them in a decent sized batch. Since there is a small number of Ti simplicities out there, the batch size would probably be pretty small, which would drive costs up even further.

Now that I've said this, I'm sure David will prove me wrong at some point :p

At any rate, I think holding off on getting the SS version for a Ti version is probably not worth it. You'll either be waiting a long time, or waiting for something that never gets released.

I am sure you are right! I will pull the trigger. So, ribbed or polished for the 18650 Ti?

Man, I am sooooooo tempted to grab a Simplicty 650 + Strata, but I already own a P+ and have a Strata for that coming.

If I wasn't trying to pay off my auto loan (36 month loan, I'm 12 months in and nearly a full year ahead on my payments - last $2500 to go!) AND saving up for my wedding, I'd be on it. Stupid adult responsibilities. :vapor:
