That gave me a good laugh. I needed that after the day that I've had. I agree, I don't feel a difference in performance between the two tips. I measured them out, and they differ in size by 5mm.

You make a great point regarding the heat that results from the length of the air channels. One thing that I forgot is that my two dual coil setups are using two different gauge wires. Thicker wire generally tends to run a bit cooler than thinner gauges so my comparison might not exactly be fair. I'll grab some more 26g from my brother and will build an identical setup to see how they compare. Overall, I still expect the Strata to run hotter.

He gave me a good chuckle too! :)

Hey all.....long long time no see...
So I find myself just now getting into the idea of an rda for my precise+ (that's now something like 2, 2 1/2 years old at this point...
So my question is is the precise + strata still in preorder stage or are any of them shipping yet....
How many of the precise+ models are left of that initial 200?....

Just curious because tying up $150 for 3-4 weeks isn't so bad....as long as it doesn't become the multi month wait that the super6 was or the precise+ was...

*suppose technically I should send in the p+ 181650 for a refinish and slightly dinged up button and bottom cap/horns...but It's the only device I use and I use it everyday all day out in the field, shop, and home...

Howdy! Welcome back! :)

Hmm, might still work with an adapter. I have the atty extender pieces from both my UFS and Amp tanks, so that could be worth trying
It sure might work, but time will tell if it's worth the bother. The Stata's juice well has serious capacity.
Something we never talked too much about during the testing was wicking. If any wicking substrate was needed, length of wicks, types of wicks, etc. It really never came up. It should be interesting what the future holds.

WOW, so many ways to set it up. I dont know if I could set it up, seems complicated for my hands and my mind as it stands for now. So many posts, is it possible to just use one coil and wick laid down around the well for a modest 1.1 resistance? Makes me kinda glad I didnt have the money to get it. I have a feeling I would have just been frustrated and the technology would have been wasted on me.

I love the looks and build of it, just beautiful metal craft.

Oh! Of course it is possible to run a single coil. I'm doing it right now. 30 second build. It's not complicated at all, simply versatile! It has these parts: One base, three removable posts (one positive and two negative, one of which is optional) a top cap and a drip tip. That's it.

That's my thought, as well. I'll still try it, most likely, but given the capacity of that juice well I probably won't really care about using the vapemate with it

It's really so much easier to set up than an odysseus. I'm not generally a crazy coil guy, so I just put a single 1.5 ohm coil on mine. Took maybe 2 minutes.

so how long till we get dry hits?

i dont use my dripper because i have to keep adding ejuice every 6 hits
I'll try to produce one. It's hard for me though, I'm a dripper and do it out of habit. My wick is staying pretty soppy, I can tell you that!
What is a GG ready wire?
It's a 1.5 ohm piece of wire joined between two pieces of non-resistance wire, made for the convenience of those who use Odysseus and Penelope. I like them because it's a very accurate ohmage.

Ah, so the same ones I use on my Sophia.

For the sake of being brutally honest, cloud chasers might be a bit underwhelmed, but flavor chasers (like me) will be thoroughly satisfied. I would categorize the vapor production as moderate...satisfactory for my style of vaping. The reduced chamber and unique airflow design combines to create some great flavor!!!

I agree wholeheartedly on this point.

I'm finding it difficult to get a satisfactory cloud-chaser performance with it thus far. As soon as I find myself the tool I need, I will try a build that I feel might help save the Strata from nay-saying cloud-chasers.

Strata's flavor production is by far the best out of an atty I've ever experienced. If I can just boost the performance to where I'd like it, then the Strata will be the RBA King of the Hill!

I wonder, if I am a cloud chaser. I don't know!
