Got my ELA Strata today. Man, this thing is one hefty hunk o' steel! (requisite foot in the background, too)

Threw in my first real attempt at the Ophion coil, came out to 1.3 ohms and is vaping decently, but I'm still trying to figure out how to get the best results from the Strata (just haven't had much time to play with them enough for any serious tinkering). So I stuck my Kick in and cranked it to 15 and it's good enough for me for now

Those stratus are lookin sexy! Can't tell if it's makin the wait better or worse! I did get my Simplicity 18350 in the other day and it easily became my fav mod so far. Can't wait for my Strata!!

Welcome surprise Super T mail today as I never saw a shipping confirmation. Both are currently taking a bath. Was only able to screw my ELA one on like 2 turns. Anyone else had this happen to them?

OK, I set the strata up for the first time today on the ELA, and this thing is an absolute fog machine! Smooth as can be, and great flavor. Great job super T.

Loving the look of the ELA strata. the grooves at the base add some nice character. Cant wait to get mine and start playing around with builds. Thanks for all the pics guys - keep em coming. Anyone got a flat bottom on their ELA to show with the strata??

Yea mine would only go on a couple of turns also. I put the strata on my extension tube no problem though. After seeing that i decided to apply a little force and strata set flush on the smaller tube. Now it screws on and off no problem.

Getting massive throat hits. Anyone have any advice on decreasing TH and increasing vapor? I am currently running dual coils at 0.9ohms over silica and haven't mustered up the patience for anything fancy.

Most generally speaking, think airflow - it's quite different and great once you nail it in your mind. Check out MattyB's anti/mega coil stuffed with cotton for an example. Big clouds with a throat hit safe as milk.

I must have overlooked my shipping notice because my ELA Stratas came without warning. Had my brother not received his ELA Stratas yesterday, I would never have checked the mailbox on my way to work this morning. I had a couple of burrs but I made quick work of those. I think I'm gonna go hide in my office for a bit to build this sucker. My only request now would be for a locking ring that matches the accent ring.

EDIT: Maybe it's just me but it sure feels like the internal dimensions of the ELA Strata are larger than that of the Simplicity/P+ Strata. Or maybe I'm just getting a lot better at building this thing The air holes definitely feel larger because I don't have to open it up as much as the Simplicity Strata in order to get the same draw. Just make sure that you wash the Strata properly. I had quite a bit of machine oil in mine. Other than that, this thing is perfect!!!
