Will there be a revision with locking mechanism? Alot of us on the APV thread & Calivaper wish it does lol. I'd buy 2 in a heartbeat if there was locking.

This model was designed to be as simple as possible and we don't plan any revisions to the button, but we do have the Simplicity line with a lock if you'd like as well as the ELA. With this model, you'll just have to take the time to remove the battery or atomizer if transporting it in a purse, bag etc, which we recommend anyway, even if the mod has a lock.

Score! Bullseye! Awesome! Very Nicely Done Super-T!

Can you tell my Workhorse arrived today. I am more than pleased with it. It's made very well, looks nice, negligable power loss under load, easy and comfortable button and oh yes! priced so affordable. Probably the best 'bang for my buck' I've spent on vaping stuff over the last 3 years. Would I recommend it to friends, would I like another one - you bet!

No time for pictures today - I'll post something tomorrow.

Thank you Super-T.

By what means did you measure the power loss under load and what would you be comparing it to? I've been wondering myself, how it stacks up in this seemingly all-important criterion.

I'm going to test it myself at work tomorrow. I'll be sure to share my results.

LOL Maybe nuthin! Of course it is.

How do you know?

I sell automotive speed equipment for a living, and MOST "made in USA" parts come from China, and have final machining done here.

Also, most "clones" actually roll of the same assembly line as the original; with diminished Q/C, and cheaper materials. Every manufacturing business practices the same way.

Do you REALLY think the Chinese reverse engineer all of this stuff? No way in hell they do! This market is tiny. The car forums I sell on have millions of members, and move 10x as fast as this. The Chinese aren't reverse engineering any of that stuff. They simply churn out more parts that were originally commissioned; with less QC, and pass them off as the real McCoy. It's easy; because they are the ones who made 'the real product' to begin with..

There's no way this mod is 100% USA made at that price point; unless the maker is doing it for gratis. The numbers just don't add up man.

I just use one of those inexpensive in-line voltage testers you screw to the mod, then screw the topper to it. I took a couple readings under load (w/ the topper), took the topper off and measured unloaded (w/o the topper). I got .1-.2 volts difference w/ a 1.3Ω coil using a nano Kayfun setup.

I've got a couple of 'quality' hybrids that show the same variation. I'm not fanatical about this - but do like to check it. For instance I have 2 identical average mech mods and one was showing .4-.5 volt drop and the other close to a full volt. What the heck, these are identical mods from the same manufacturer. I had to tweak the weaker one to get better contacted from the button to the batt and that got me another 1/2 volt from it under load.

Got my Workhorse 18500 last night when I got home. Very nice! Button is smooth and the threading is, well.... precise! I threw my .5ohm Strata on it for a test. Button got warm..Put a 1ohm genny on it and its fine. Going to order an HD spring like I have in my Simplicity 650 for subohm duties and I'll be all set! Very pleased with this purchase. At this price point its an amazing value.

You don't know SuperT then.....100% USA manufactured :glare:
Yes, that was one of the most bizarre statements I've ever seen on ECF. Anybody and everybody since 2009 knows that a Super-T, *any* Super-T is an American product. People can say a lot of things, have whatever opinions they want about it, but that's one unshakable truth.

I've never heard of Super-T outside of this forum, and I'm new here; so forgive me

Yes sir, all made here in the great state of Minnesota. One of these days i'll have to do up a little video tour of the place. We have our own in house CNC equipment and finishing equipment. I think people would be surprised how we've grown from our humble beginnings.
