I'm thinking it will be at least a week before they ship to elev8, due to changing some part it was originally designed to utilize. Which makes me wonder how the ebay seller has already shipped some to his customers. I guess they have the original part. Also, the box people were putting on the web was the original size. I thought P4Y had changed this one to a smaller one.

It's certainly not my intention to spread misinformation. Perhaps you have better communication that what I've read.

I was told the manufacturer was replacing a part, this was what the P4Y rep told someone. Maybe the part has something to do with the silver colored units only? Not sure, though that wasn't detailed as such.

The smaller box idea came from a video that they uploaded showing the smaller form factor, stating it's their new box, and they were going to put the V2 chip in it and a battery cradle.

^yeah, if it wasn't going to have changeable batteries, they wouldn't bother with a cradle.. I honestly don't see why they didn't just put that out..I guess cuz of stupid people like me. I'll definitely buy a mini version..

I have not read anything on reddit about the IPV, sorry. I have, however, been following several preorders via non-vendor means. These are the updates we have been getting straight from the manufacturer. That doesn't mean that everyone is getting the same story, or that every rep is good at translating their communications to us.
