The group buy I'm a part of is finally getting our units produced later today. We ordered 63 units with 40 of them being black or silver. Some have a custom logo and some don't. The rest are blue or gold. The blue and gold ones won't be shipping with the rest of them as they've been delayed. The payment was sent to them on July 18th and they said it would take 15 working days for them to produce then ship the units once they received it. They said the black and silver ones should be shipped by the end of the week with the rest of them shipping at an unknown date. I can't really complain that it's taken this long since I only paid $71 shipped though.

How long of a wait time did you experience just for reference? I know a lot of others have mentioned their wait times from vendors. Any insight on this?

Any info on this LOL , holy cow , go back about twenty pages and wait times about vendors and who's shipping next is all there is to read.

I'm not so sure about the talk about having to sell at a set price. Vaportekusa has a round two preorder going on right now with them listed at 89.99 and no coupon needed. I think maybe elev8 thought they were about done with the preorders and about to get the mods in stock and then charge an in stock price of 109.99 like most everyone else. Also possibly every time they activate the coupon it's due to them allowing someone time to order at the 79.99 price because they could be receiving emails from people like me asking for the coupon price. And I've heard china has sale reps and staff that work through the china night to be able to be in contact with others around the world during different times so it wouldn't help to only activate a coupon during our daytime, china's nighttime, to try to hide it. Again, I'm happy saving thirty bucks while waiting as long as it takes and consider elev8vape customer service top notch.

Elev8 service top notch? Well there's bound to be one in every crowd , you are one great customer , anyone who thinks Elev8 has top notch CS is one very very easy to please person.

For what it is worth I canceled my order with Elev8 7/31 and placed a new order (+ $30) with Vivid Smoke on the same day. Tracking shows it will be here tomorrow. Communication with Vivid has been outstanding!

Just got home and found my 50 in the mailbox. Vivid Smoke has always done a good job and will continue to get my business. Four days from the West Coast to the Midwest, not to shabby.

I, too, had top notch service from elev8.

I was one of the first on their pre-order list. Shortly after, they announced the blue version. I emailed them and asked if I could change mine to blue. They responded within a couple of hours and said Sure. Once I found out the blue's were delayed, I sent them an Email asking if I could change it back to black. Again, they responded in a couple of hours and said No problem, it will ship out ASAP. 4 days later it was in my mailbox.

Ya they responded within an hour to my first e mail, and I even emailed and asked about the rumor that they are having their order withheld for lowering the price, they responded quickly, albeit only with a "Don't listen to a rumor from a direct competitor. The units are being shipped to us on Tuesday, all orders will start being fulfilled on Friday." I emailed them again to say I wanted whatever color was available first, then emailed them again a couple days later saying I wanted black only. Both times they replied promptly. It has only been around 2 weeks since they got their first shipment, and on their website it says it will be a minimum of 1 week wait time f you order, so everyone should've known what they were getting into. I understand the frustration, but their website is pretty clear that there is a wait time of at least 1 week. But I can certainly understand people getting anxious about it, it sounds as if it was pretty random who they responded to, some people said they emailed repeatedly without response.

The only thing I think they should've done differently is more frequent updates, if they can email me and say "The units are being shipped to us on Tuesday, all orders will start being fulfilled on Friday.", they should be able to put that on the update page.

Edit: this was not intended to put down anyone upset with elev8, I definitely get why people are frustrated, I just wanted to say my experience with them.

I had read all of that but did not see anything about that particular supplier. Just kind of made me perplexed as to how they got overlooked when having one of the cheapest prices available currently :?:

I HEARD elev8 got in a bit of trouble with P4Y about selling below their MSRP.
...

This information is from a vendor who used it to sell IPVs at a higher price than their competitors.

Chinese "manufacturers" and their sales agents promising shipping dates pulled out of their backsides is just the same song nine billionth verse. This practice dates back decades before the first e-cig was ever sold.

It is extremely common that Chinese companies do not own their own manufacturing facilities and have to wait in line for manufacturers to produce their product. Even in the cases where a company does their own manufacturing it is common for them to have supply chain issues.

Also, Chinese companies will happily take orders for items that have never been more than a photoshopped image which has never been prototyped let alone had a preproduction run.

It is wildly optimistic to expect a newly introduced, popular product produced in China to ship on time and with no QC issues. Sometimes the QC issues get fixed in subsequent production runs, sometimes not. Often improved accuracy in promised shipping times are a result of people moving on to the next hot product rather than any improvement in production supply chain management.

Preorders are probably not a good idea unless one can comfortably live ulcer-free with whatever, whenever delivery.

In every crowd there's always at least one drama queen and or hater and or pessimist and or stupidly foolish posts, that doesn't even deserve replies. Why I reply sometimes, I don't know...

Herb, I speak based on my own personal experience. What do you speak based on, other people's experiences and remarks? When I message a vendor, that's constantly getting bombarded by emails and phone calls, on a Friday afternoon then the vendor replies on Saturday and again on Sunday while activating a coupon for a few hours or so for me to use then that shouldn't be considered top notch customer service? And or that's considered easy to please? Call it what you will, I'm pleased with elev8vape's top notch customer service. This is the first time I've ordered from them and do plan on being a great customer that's patient, for at least 4 weeks, while not hindering them with phone calls or emails.

Quick question, just got mine in today, just below the fire button there's a number there 060. What's this? I haven't seen numbers there in any picture of the ipv2 serial number inside reads L0252

This on the LCD screen or printed on the device? If it was on the screen take a picture showing where it's at exactly?
