hmm still at .3 at 50 watts and its reading 4 volts to the atty. i had a 1.7ohm on it last night and was able to get the voltage up to 8.5 volts.

im runnin this dual vertical 26g build on my tobh. at 50 watts its really hot and im literally only doing 1-2 sec pulls. def need to go down on watts, or build higher ohms. too hot for me like this, but its nice to see this thing perform like it should =)

I got my ipv v2 about two weeks ago and had issues pretty much from the get go. It's with asMODus now for repairs but it was giving me crazy resistance and voltage readings jumping between .3 and 8ohms after each fire with a 1.3 ohm coil on it. Also had the touch sensor firing on its own a few times. I'm hoping it was just an issue with it being an early batch but anyone else have similar problems?

That sucks... I haven't had mine for long (still waiting on my pre-order, but I ordered a second after it was released and got that one earlier this week), but all my builds have read perfectly so far.

I've fired: .2, .3, .6, .7, 1.2, 1.5, 1.9, 2.0, 2.1 and they have all been dead on so far. Sounds like it might be a wiring/connection issue (vs. a chip issue), but that's purely a guess... I had a similar issue on my DNA 30 mod until I cleaned up the connections (why are mod makers so f'in hot glue crazy??).

IPV V2 50w Box Mod ... from Fluid Vapes
- Received an earlier version, no way to manually enable/disabe the "Fire Touch Sensor"

Sented mine back not too long ago, ...for them to check it out ... Fluid Vapes received it 31 July
In 8 days time, they did there fluid vapes thing and had it back in my hands ... 08 August
Emailed them once, asking about the status of my return, they replied the next following morning.
Also received a few status updated by email ...
- Process completed
- Replacement will be sent out soon
- Replacement Shipped, along with a tracking number
Very satisfied at how Fluid Vapes handled the whole process.

This is my understanding:

Regardless of what you set it to, the chip is limited to a maximum of 8.4V / 16A / 50W. If you max out one of these variables the mod will not push anything above that. At 0.2 ohms, it'll be limited to 50W, so it can only push up to 3.16V

At 1.9 ohms, the mod is limited to 8.4 volts so it will not give you over 37 watts.

But the chip can't down regulate past 3.6. So how is it giving the atty 3.16?

Just got my v2 in the mail. Got it from eBay for $110 and it is awesome so far. The battery door is absolutely flush all around and it works fine. I finally brought my nautilus back to life with a bvc and it works better than ever! I have a 1.6 on it and it is reading as 1.7 so that is fine by me. At 12 watts it says 4.5 volts and is just amazing! Good times!!!

I honestly don't know since I'm still waiting for my shipment. It might only fire down to 0.3 ohms (even though the specs say it fires to 0.2).

PS, it's Friday and no new update from Elev8 on whether or not their second shipment with the "black" units arrived.

Ok well I built a .3 which the chip says should be 4.0 volts and I'm getting 3.75-3.80. This is under load.
