After reading Anthony's post i find it very telling that some vendors were clearly claiming that they had to sell at higher prices because P4U would let the hammer fall if they didn't and they were the only ones who could be trusted .

They also said "don't overpay for the ipv " you will overpay if you buy from anyone but us lol.

What vendors claimed this , i will surely never do business with them in the future , " a " holes.

Surprising Elev8 admits being totally overwhelmed , sounds like they make it a habit of overburdening themselves . Regarding the prices on the ipv's:

1-50 - $ 58.00

50-100 - $55.00

100 - ? - $52.00

P4U is not charging any vendor anywhere close to $85.00 , the vendors selling for that price are killing it , selling for over that is getting close to outright theft lol.

Don't forget that's the base price. Shipping from China to the US usually adds another $3 per unit, bank fees will add another $3, and duty taxes will add another $2.50.

I also believe the costs might be slightly higher than those figures, but either way you're correct they're not charging $85, but the true cost to vendors is probably $65 - $75 (depending on number ordered), and the vendor still has to either charge (or absorb) the costs to ship it to the customer (making their breakeven cost $70 - $80)

For anyone who ordered from 'AllForYummyVapor', I received mine today:

Date Ordered: 28/06/2014
Date Shipped: 27/07/2014

I'm very impressed with it so far (half a day use), The touch button is surprisingly good to use as my thumb naturally goes on it when I lift it to my face so it almost feels like an automatic :)

Great post.... my vendor honestly has nothing to lie about as he has shipped all of his pre orders out extremely timely. At this point he is no longer taking anymore pre orders since he has black and silver units in stock ready for purchase and deliver. As he complied with the pricing guidelines everything went smooth with pre orders and with his stock. Plus if you do a google search for the ipv v2 50 watt he has the best seo on google. So to say he did not place a big order is questionable.

You brought up an excellent point which I had no knowledge of since I did not order from elev8. The cuopon code. I find it really odd that the code is on only in the day time, when in china it is night time. And off during the night time when it is day time in china. If elev8 concern is to have the lowest price anywhere, why take the code down. Better yet, if there is no MSRP, why have the MSRP price and offer a coupon code? Why not flat out list it for $79? I mean no big deal right, Since p4y does not have an MSRP?

I dont know.... you may be totally right. I honestly hope I am wrong so everybody gets their mods. I just don't know why the cana mod went the same way with elev8 (yes, i read every page, hundreds and hundreds) and now the ipv v2. Lots of vendors who did pre orders now have them in stock. I also read in this thread that they have not passed order 6200 for a week, that they completely stopped. I dont know. Again, this is just my opinion and some more concerns I have. Take it with a grain of salt!

I am fully aware of international times as I have a team of php developers that work with me on a new project, but just so you know, app major companies that work internationally have there sales reps that work overnights in there countries to make up for that difference, otherwise communication would be extremely difficult . You can see when P4U is online by looking at there pages, and they are usually online in the daytime in the us. Again, Chinese MFGRS do recommend a MSRP, but it is not a "set" price that vendors must obey, there main concern is getting larger orders as it's cheaper for them to produce in bulk, they do not care if you undersell others as there not worried about us b & m shops having a fair marketplace. They also don't usually deal with resellers they deal directly with large vendors so that's not a concern either. His SEO efforts have nothing at all to do with his volume of sales, SEO is determined by many factors, for example - backlinks, domain name, domain age, keyword density, authorship of articles, page rank, page authority, social following and a hundreds of other factors. It has nothing to do with how many orders they privately placed with P4U or even page views in that matter. This is not against your vendor, he maybe great and he got you your unit, but it's not true what he told you. Contact P4U yourself and see, inquire about ordering 3000 units and ask if u have to sell it at MSRP. Just so you know, even if they have a MSRP on there site, that's exactly what it is, a manufacturers suggested retail price. Suggested as in you can sell it for whatever you want but that's what they recommend it's retail value is. I explained why some companies restrict it to the MSRP, but even the companies that do set there price, you can still sell it below that as long as it's not advertised, basically add to cart to see price. No one holds shipment as punishment that's ridiculous lol

Thanks for the attempt at educating me on subject matters I already have sufficient knowledge of.

This does not even warrant a reply. My original intent was to bring something up that I had knowledge of proir to the units delivery to vendors.

Other members in this thread have said they have been told the same. So let me guess, all the online vendors conspired this amazing story?

VAPE ON ALL!

Those are the prices i got from two separate P4U account managers , true costs with everything is around $65.00 tops not $75.00.

Thank you herb for this info. It is good to know. I mean if I a vendor makes $40 profit it is not bad. I mean they have to cover the over head and make a living, right?

I actually was inquiring about ordering from directly P4U and got some inside info, There's a new limited edition coming out very soon and its made with carbon fiber with blue or silver accents. =P. Btw, Right now you cant even order then for several weeks no matter what anyone tells you, there booked. O ya and theres no pricing punishment bs found out from the source. You do have to advertise at 109 but if you use a coupon code to reduce price so its not advertised its perfectly ok. This convo some how turned into seriously discussing becoming a vendor lol!
So...where do we get them?

Even if you order 10?

Notice I said depending on how many you order for the upper range?

I've also received pricing from P4U and the prices were slightly higher ($62, $59, and $56)

Are you talking about this one? (A 'special edition' 50 watt IPV2 made for VaporRange?)
Ghee... it is the same unit with just a carbon fiber wrap and a logo. I guess that makes it "special" (to VaporRange at least)

Right , $40.00 adds up when your selling thousands or even hundreds , if vendors are getting $100.00+ per unit they are making an excellent profit.

When i talked to P4U on a few different occasions and with a few different people they were very consistent on what the units will cost based on how many you purchase , all the quotes ranged from $52.00 $58.00 per unit for the 50 watt .

I did not pursue it further than that but it's no secret that on some other popular forums some pretended to be a vendor looking to buy quantity when their intention was to just purchase a couple directly . P4U and even Cloupor will gladly ship you a "sample" unit to evaluate but the shipping really kills you even for just one.

If anyone knows the cost of shipping hundreds of them it would be much easier to figure out what vendors are actually paying , but then again we don't have the #'s of how many vendors order so forget that.

... my vendor honestly has nothing to lie about as he has shipped all of his pre orders out extremely timely. ...

Big red flags always go up for me when a business either gossips about or trash mouths competitors. It seems utterly silly to me to trust someone of such poor character and so unprofessional to be reliably truthful.

Alright folks. Heads up. Go check your bank statements!

Over the course of the past 3 months, there have been multiple $49.95 charges made to my card that I use solely for vape-shopping.

Initial charges were made by a Ieptcs Com, and consists of a $49.95 charge and another $1.50 charge.

Subsequent charges of the same exact amount were made by a Support.com.

I've checked with BoA And there's a rising number of reports about it. Please check and if your account has been compromised, report to the bank and have a new card sent out to you.

That is all

This particular fraudulent charge scam has been going on since at least June. It is definitely not limited to vape vendors nor any other particular vendor.
