Are you talking about this one? (A 'special edition' 50 watt IPV2 made for VaporRange?)
Ghee... it is the same unit with just a carbon fiber wrap and a logo. I guess that makes it "special" (to VaporRange at least)

Some know that but many don't and believe it or not , i bet just the look will make people spend more for the same thing lol.

When a vendor adds " customized " or " limited edition " to a products name some will definitely jump on it and not do their homework , if they want to think they have something special and pay more for it thats their problem , i mean right .

The white colored carbon wrap at the top does look sharp but it's not worth more to me than a standard one.

It depends on your taste, I like them both. I know there wraps but wraps cost 15$ and there a hassle sometimes to install depending on device, for an additional 10$ I would be willing to make the jump. Also, it's not just a wrap. It's a titanium frame with carbon fiber inserts from what I've been told

Big red flags always go up for me when a business either gossips about or trash mouths competitors. It seems utterly silly to me to trust someone of such poor character and so unprofessional to be reliably truthful.

Ummmm. I don't remember ever saying he trashed his competitors. Nice assumption. I got the info from my vendor cause I ordered at a lower price and the next day the price went up, I inquired as to why and he then explained. He never mentioned any other vendor. My vendor was of the upmost professional at all times. So professional I will continue to do business with him. I know when all the cool new mods come out, I will get them fast. And for a few extra dollars (chump change really) it is worth it.

I have been in touch with Jwarps and VaporSkins. BOTH have this same carbon fiber wrap (to cover more than just part of the front and back) and it is only 18.00. It is easy to apply.

I suspect a "limited edition" iPV2 10 watt unit (basically advertising for VaproRange) is gonna cost at least $20 more. Personally I hate advertising for someone... like when the care deal just HAS to put their name on the back of your nice new car. Seriously?!

I agree.... if it was like the primus z where you can completely customize it to your liking I would jump in. The jwrap seems the way to go if you got the mod already.

Titanium? Not aluminum? Hmmm. I'm interested. I wonder how it adds to the weight.
The inserts are basically a sticker though, right?

Idk this is what I was told on the phone with a distributor, they will ship on the 20th. Might be a mistake or I may have heard wrong since it was a phone call. Also all units will have VR branding as well. I asked if it was a sticker or wrap and was told not there carbon fiber inserts inside a frame

Well I spoke with that same vendor that Cadster0103 did and I have done business with this company in the past ( I never even thought to look there ) and they have always been great to me. So I ordered, got my tracking, shows that it has shipped and is due to be here by Tuesday. :) I'm a happy camper.

Lesson I learned for me is that it is better that I avoid the pre-orders. Even if it means I pay a little more for an in stock item. I said before that I was happy I was saving the $30 or so $$ but after a little more time went by and all the questions as to what the heck may or may not be happening, made me realize it's not worth the savings. Again, this is for me. Some may be very content with their choice and that's all it really comes down to. Do what feels comfortable for you.

Oh and for what it's worth I don't think Cad was being "nasty" either.

The price of iPV2 50w box mod
5-49pcs:$62/pcs
50-99pcs:$57/pcs
100-199pcs:56/pcs
200-299csp:$55/pcs
300-999pcs:$54/pcs
1000+pcs:$50/pcsk

The cost for 1000pcs:
The price for 1000pcs is $50/pcs, the shipping fee for 1000pcs is $1425. T/T bank fee is $10

Yes, that's more in-line with the costs I was privy too.

Shipping of $1.50 is pretty cheap, but not many vendors are getting 1000 shipped at once (even elev8 is only getting 50-100 at a time), which brings the shipping closer to $3 per. I think the standard bank fee is $50 (unless using paypal, and then it's considerably more). And as mentioned previously, don't forget duty.

Either way, places like elev8 with a large order probably are only paying $60 to their door, but lots of vendors are only ordering 50 -100 of these and their cost is closer to $75.

Pricing direct from P4U Corp Headquarters. They also mentioned there are currently processing over 26,000 units and production lead time is 20-30 days on new orders , With the exception that 1000+ maybe sooner at special request to CEO. After the 20th there should be no more issues with stock. I wanted to make an order but its such a hassle. Also that was a special shipping price for a 1000 unit order it was more then double on lesser units

You don't just ask whats the price you need to go back and forth with them which took me 5 days to get the price figures i got , first and second emails were close to the above prices but i said it would only work for me if i could get them cheaper so we bargained some more and the lowest price i could get out of them was what i posted .

Low $50.00 range is good for 5 -50 units . Shipping is a whole different story lol. On another note can you provide with the source of your information about many vendors only ordering 50-100 units , with thousands of pre orders what vendors set them selves up for failure by ordering 50-100 units .
