I see, I don't know much about the new chip, besides its supposed to go to 100 watts. Interesting that they would change the chips firmware 3 weeks after release.
As a side note, what do the non upgradable chips say when there is a short? Just SHORT, right? Because all mine does is go to 9.9 ohm.
Not really updates like that are typical with anything just released they cant think of everything in the lab it seems like you see that with automobiles and apps for your phone alot just look at all the versions of android lol

I totally misunderstood you, I thought you said firmware upgradable, not firmware upgrade. I thought you were saying that he has the user upgradable chip.

k atomizerBecause of the check atomizer function??

My ipv 35 watt says 'check atomizer ' and i have had it at least 6 weeks now so it should be one of the first chips sent .

Ok so how do I upgrade my ipv 2 then lol? To 60watts?

If i had a iPV 50 watt i honestly would not even bother to upgrade it , 50 is way more than i would ever use , actually 35 watt is too much for me . I will never understand why this obsession with max power , is 50 watt not getting it done for anyone.

Would depend on if you subohm or run dual+ coils on an RDA. With doing either you would need more power.
