Just received my ipv2 today and I gotta say it's way smaller than I expected lol it really puts out with a 1.1 ohm dual coil build putting out more clouds than a .2-.3 ohm build on a mech I really like it mine didn't have any issues like people were talking about my back door sits flush there's no lip I don't have to screw it down a certain way the screws don't strip for me the only thing I noticed was there was a little bit of glue and scratches which was definitely not a deal breaker not a fan of the touch button although it is extremely responsive and it works way better than I expected over all I was really happy with my first impressions I've been worried cause people have been saying a lot of bad things about it but it's awesome IMO

People are still being fooled by that plastic membrane film on the windows of the ipv , take it off , no more scratches.

Haha ya that was one of the first things I did when I got it. I tried using it with a 32 gauge nano coil, failed miserably with lots of burning of the throat, then took the plastic off. Its funny how quickly you can adjust your building to get used to the increased power.

Any recommended builds and does any one else's ohm meter seem off by a lot?
My unit's a bit erratic with some attys; e.g. with a .8 ohm, it would sometimes jump to 1.1 then .9 before it comes back down to .8. Most times it's only a difference of +/- .1 which isn't that uncommon.

I'd stay above .8 if you intend to vape lower than 20 watts regulated on a freshly charged batt.

I really wish they would have just left the pat side metal instead of putting a logo in there kinda pointless and ugly Imo my only serious gripe with this device so far is how fast it dies my guess is they just left it a single 18650 because they knew they were gonna make the ipv3 and if the ipv2 was dual 18650 there really would be no point in buying the ipv 3 especially because it only goes up to 7 watts

LOL Yeah, they're fugly. Leave it to China to come up with janky cheap toy designs. Their factories manufacture well (when they want to) but aesthetic sense is nil. [emoji1]

Just curious if anyone has any insight here but my order from elev8 has been sitting in 'pre-shipping' according to the tracking number since the 17th (order 8188). How long did it take for most of yours to continue from 'pre-shipping' to 'shipped'. I have to go out of town on Friday and was really hoping to have it by then.

Yeah , i agree , always wondered what the heck the point was with that plastic strip . Seems some of the wraps you can buy for it don't even cover it , the wrap companies think we like it i suppose.

Ya it was a dual coil I had on my trident before I got my ipv2, I was trying a cotton cloud underneath, with the tail running through the coil, worked well at 15 watts on my zmax, so I figured 45 watts would be great ....

Did anyone see if they removed that window on the 2S? Or the 3?
