Robin said it all. It doesn't matter how much or how fancy the battery is. If it works for you to keep you off the analogs then It's a winner for everyone involved.

Ok, eGo's will last only a given time. With a PV that you put batteries into, you can replace batteries and not lose your vaping device. If you have a battery die, you will have other batteries to put in it. I started in September vaping. One of my original eGo Twists just died this month. And I hadn't been using it hardly at all since Christmas when I got the Provari as a gift. It lasted about 4 months and I really did take care of them.
I love having them around for peace of mind as an excellent backup. If my other ones die, I have no problem replacing them....for backup. They are great little PV's. The problem becomes: you don't really know how long they will last and if it does bite the dust, you will have no warning. When we smoked, lighters would sometimes let you know they were on their last legs, PV's don't. They just stop.
I have several batteries that I have in rotation, if one fails, I have 4 more with plenty of time to get replacement. Until vaping becomes more mainstream, we are at the mercy of Internet purchasing, which means it takes days to get what we need.

I moved up to a Lavatube for my first VV mod because I broke four ego batteries in a matter of a month and a half. Haha. After that, it's been down hill for me. I've got two lava tubes, a varistack, two spinners, a Zmax, a Sigelei, three Ego batteries, a Vamo, and probably grabbing an iTaste MVP soon. Lol. I love it.
I would suggest you get a mechanical and this way you will always have a reliable back up. I use an ego-t and I also have a mechanical for my backup.
dude...i understand what you are saying...I have 4 ego batts 1 of them is a 1000mah twist...but when you try your first Zenisis or Ihybrid...you will understand...or even a Provari or Vamo with a RBA on it...at that point you will have an "ah ha" moment like i did...then the game will change for you like it did for me...and alot of us ..
I still use my ego batts every day at work with smoketech dual coil mega cartos...they work fine and i like them...but when i get home and chill out...i grab my Zen standard filled with Bobas and thats what I like.
another vote for using egos when i'm out and about, and the big, bulky ones when i'm at home or in the car.
In short, those who are happy with Ego's and cig-a-like batteries, dont frequent the forum and just re-supply as needed... OR dont even know ECF exists.

If you read my post on this thread, you'll see that is soooo not the case. We're here, we just get drowned out or remain silent when we would like to advise on the most user-friendly and safest ways of vaping for noobs.
