That's great the Berserker worked out well for you. I do both. mostly because I found mtl style pod systems of decent quality for running around without a mod. I never found problems finding mtl rtas at the time I vaped that way without expense as a requirement, I just found I didn't like the tight draw anymore and decided to move to a looser easier draw. Most of my vaping these days would be classified as more of a restrictive DL squonk vaping.

We all change preferences over time. There's also no real reason to be pushed from one style to another unless you prefer to remain with what you have. Like I'm not and never have been a huge cloud fan. I have some tanks and rdas that will do that, but I can't see myself converting over to that as my primary vape style. Still, I don't rule out the possibility of using them on occasion so I'm happy to have them. I guess I prefer mostly not getting pigeonholed and enjoy having options out there for whatever I might prefer.

Same here. I like variety. I have a little of everything. I don’t care about clouds, I don’t mind them either, but it’s all about flavor for me. Mostly I like dl but sometimes - mowing, for some odd reason - I like a fairly tight mtl.

So when you're mowin' your lawn you prefer to MTL? LOL

safe distance from a black hole
Started out tight MTL, discovered rDL, moved to DL exclusively, discovered loose mtl trying to make a mtl rta into a rDL rta.

Im 98%DL and 2%loose MTL now.

tbh the higher mg nic needed for a satisfying mtl is really uncomfortable in the mouth for me even though I do occasionally like the more cigarette type draw of a mtl rta or tank.
I use the same coil build for DL as I do for mtl but fire them for DL at about 3-4watts more. Generally use TC at about 190c/380f for DL and 9watts or less for MTL.

Agree with enjoying both.

Some of the earliest tanks and cartomizers weren't so great, little vapor, wet vapor, some liquid in the mouth, etc. Add in that the juice tended to be at least 50 percent PG, and it took me some time to grow into DL. I was MTL'ing at first because of nasty hits. Fortunately, all of that improved over time, and I increasingly enjoyed DL as I got more vapor, more finely vaporized vapor, and rarely if ever any of those nasty sputters of eliquid direct to mouth!

But MTL still appeals at times, especially on a POD system vaporizing nicotine salt. Small puff, tight draw, big hit now and then satisfies the cravings.

Good question m1ke.

Mostly mtl, but one device I use causes me to choke with mtl so I do a light dl and that works with that one. It is a tank system with a flavor that I really like in that one gadget. Other devices I own don't produce some nuances that one does. To get a non choking mtl with it I have to do drags so light it doesn't satisfy so I learned how the dl the thing the way that gets it done for me.

There are occasions where I just need a bit more nic in the drag from a given device so I'll do a dl a couple of times to get that added boost. A longer mtl drag at those times results in a coughing spell where the dl for whatever reason does not. Situations where my nerves are frazzled and my device just isn't able to satisfy with my typical drag. After that I go back to mtl.
