You adjust the watts and volts. The reading when you push both the + and - together tells you the resistance of the tank youre using and the remaining battery strength. Its is not self adjusting to the best of my knowlege in either watts or volts based on the instruction manual and my experience using it.
On another thread it says it does. I wish I knew. Might just try Innokin on FaceBook.

All VV-VW devices (basically) work the same way...
You use volts, you manually set the volts for the resistance and your personal tastes... the device is fixed at the voltage you set it at.
You use watts, the processor adjusts voltage automatically based on the read atty resistance and the maximum wattage you set it at.

don't disregard the spinner you ordered- a nice simple battery with a lot(if you got the 1100 or 1300mah)more vaping time. my wife uses both and enjoys both. if you're out and about the problem with the itaste is the 800mah battery: not enough run time if you vape a lot. nice form factor but I wish it came in larger capacities.........
the aspire clearo is a nice topper for either and is certainly better than the i16s that come with the kit.

havnt really used my spinner since i got it.
i have 2 halo triton 650's and have been using them.
i got it for the battery life. it must be the tanks i have.. everything tastes like plastic, and that's on the lowest setting.
i soaked everything in vodka last night and let it all air dry.
waiting for some ejuice to steep would like to put one juice in the 5 different clearos i bought and see which ones i like.
Save your self some headache and just buy a dripping atomizer. That is how you test juice w/out filling up clearos. Drip a few drops onto the atomizer coil and vape. You can blow it out to try the next flavor. Joyetech 510 atomizers is how they are usually advertised on sites. Get low resistance.

I've been using my v3 for about a month with a protank mini.... I LOVE it!!
I just bought another v3 as my backup (I have several 650's also just in case) Now I just need an extra protank mini, I have a sweet protank 2 I just got a sleeve for.....
Btw.. If my button rattles I don't notice it

Love mine, I don't have any complaints about it. The rattling you can hear when you shake it are the +- buttons, not the fire button. Its not that big of a deal. Its a great little devise, it is very small - all metal construction. I highly recommend it. The new version 3.0 is not available with the pen cap. But does have the ability to adjust both volts and watts.
I've had mine for about a week and I love it! With a beauty ring and a mini vivi nova it looks pretty slick too.
