Again you are twisting what I said but that's the norm in this thread with some who think they can vape wherever and whenever they want. There are no laws to prevent that. If you think there are name them.

The are many who have NEVER smoked. They took up vaping because it's the new and cool thing to do. The ONLY reason they vape is to blow massive clouds to impress. But they also likely vape no nicotine and they are not many, so vaping is an exercise in showing off and not one that damages health - i smoked for 30 years - do you see where i am going with this?

If you vape zero nic and you blow clouds then good for you! If vaping got you off cigs then good for you and congrats! I haven't smoked a cig since 2009 thanks to vaping.I'm not quite there

Blow massive clouds in your home, in your car, in the park, in the ect... NOT in a restaurant...
agree with that bit.

There is absolutely no reason to delve into why people vape. None, period. The ONLY reason to complain or comment on people who vape yet never smoked, is if the commenter is themselves buying into Antz propaganda. In this thread, it's simply a straw man argument.
Sure, many of us vape so we won't smoke, but when did that become a requirement? You want those others to go suck on cancer sticks for a predetermined amount of time before its acceptable for them to vape? This thread is about whether/where it's acceptable to vape, leave peoples choices about why and how they vape out of it. To the uninformed, bought into Antz propaganda public (of which they air on public tv using tax dollars here in California), do you think they would be any less offended if it was a tootle puffer instead of a cloud chaser? Please, wake up. Btw, those commercials here in Cali...... They aren't showing clouders....mostly ego pens....
Sent with one hand, the other is busy vaping.

And you missed the point of people vaping for sport but that's cool..

Yes the CA ads are pretty pathetic.. The most recent one showing all the kids playing with vaporizers is beyond ridiculous..

I've been here for 6 years and have 3,000 posts so I doubt I've always said it.. LOL

Just stop as you are making yourself look silly now.. Anywho, quote me all you want as it's to the block list with you :)
One thing I'll never look is silly so forgive me if I have to question the personal attack.

You've felt the need to jump on & respond to my post; I'm doing the same. Not sure when quoting someone became a blockable offense but OK!!!!

My point is why people vape (which had been mentioned by multiple posts) doesn't even need to be brought up here. It's in no way relevant. Nor is how they vape really.
As far as the "still blowing smoke" ad campaign, it's far more then ridiculous, it's down right deception and disgusting politics at its worst. It is spreading lies to the public, using publics tax dollars to do so. It makes claims about the evil tobacco industry withholding secrets about vaping, while the regulations they wish to create actually aid BT.
And. Oh BTW.... Once you reach the age of 18, you no longer are allowed to enjoy flavors beyond tobacco and perhaps menthol, since any other flavor is OBVIOUSLY targeted at children. It makes me sick and livid. I put my life on the line for THIS!?!
These are the real dangers to our vape freedom, not some random vapers on the street. If Joe public knew that second hand vapor contains less harmful substances then the city air they were already breathing, do you really think they would mind walking through a cloud that smelled of cinnamon rolls? Instead they are being filled with false data about how dangerous it is.
I don't vape in most public spaces, not because I'm worried about creating a negative image, but because I know the negative image ALL READY EXISTS, through no fault of vapers be they tootle puffers or cloud chasers.

So, if we replace the obnoxious vaping habits with drunk rude customers, would it have the same outcome? Likely not, as he would have no business without customers. As someone else mentioned, he could have simply talked to them or posted signs discouraging the act.

This is nothing more than a red herring, the real problem is that BT and BG are losing money on vapers in more ways than one. They simply have to make it up somewhere so why not lump in vaping with tobacco, as they don't care how safe it is and only use safety as a means to scare the populace into believing we need more taxes and bans. But keep pushing the "big clouds are the problem" argument, keep your eyes closed to the real problem and stick your head in the sand.

I certainly don't see this thread as a train wreck, it's been very informative. Self entitlement of vapers has nothing to do with the fact that it's all about the money and they'll do what ever is necessary to keep the money flowing. Do you have any idea how much money they stand to lose if everyone quit smoking? This is the obvious problem.

They most certainly aren't going off public opinion anyway, they use things like this to try and form the public opinion when has the big clouds argument been used? Can you show me one instance, aside from forums where vapers are going against vapers? Is there a scary article out there demonizing the cloud chasers? The only place I've read about that is here on the forums.

Amen brother.

The no vaping signs were hanging on business doors LONG before California started their false ad attacks. Those signs were a direct result of vapers acting poorly, no doubt about that in my book..

Responsible vapers should be just as upset with the irresponsible vapers as they are with the government.. Both of these camps are hurting the cause..

No vaping signs are everywhere now so I guess in your mind they just manifested themselves because people were behaving like adults who were properly raised..

Oh my......................................

None in Michigan. The atmosphere is different here than in Kaliforniastan.

There is no truth in your rant, only what you want to believe.

Since you have "no doubt that all of this legislation was because of vapers acting poorly", then how about you post something to back it up? Right now it's clear you are assuming that's the reason, post up some credible evidence and maybe I'll change my mind.

It's obvious you have a woody for trashing cloud chasers with nothing more than your misguided opinions.

Did you know that California is at the top for losing tax money already spent, to vapers, that have quit analogs and taken up vaping?

Since you haven't been responding to me lately, I have to believe that perhaps I'm on your block list? Or not, no big deal really, lol.

Again you twist the point.. Why you continue to do this is the question.. I never said the legislation was a result of inappropriate vapers, I said the signs on the doors were.

Why you continue to twist words and play games is kind of odd to say the least.. Add another to the block list that's getting longer thanks to this thread.. LOL

I live in California and the signs were hanging in doors LONG before California started the bashing. You can choose to deny that all you want but it's a fact..

I can care less if you want to chase clouds but common sense (some don't have it) should dictate to a reasonable, well raised adult, that blowing them in Walmart (or elsewhere) is inappropriate..

Chase all the clouds you want, when it's reasonable. You are not impressing anyone by doing it in public, trust me..

If you feel the need to block me then go right ahead. Not sure where else I twisted your words though, feel free to show me.

My bad on the word legislation, I was not attempting to twist your words, just used the wrong word for the hanging of the signs, again, my apologies.

Now, please, post up your source for the cloud chasers being directly responsible for the hanging of the no vaping signs way back when or even recently. You seem to be on a kick to demonize cloud chasers, why?

I don't know if signs were hanging on doors for a while now, what I do doubt is the fact that you are blaming cloud chasers for being the direct result of these supposed long time hanging signs and not the simple act of vaping. That's where I want proof that this is the case. It may very well be true, but you have not posted anything credible to back this belief, only your opinions and assumptions.

Do you really believe that it wasn't the normal act of vaping that could have very well caused this and not the cloud chasers? I have yet to see cloud chasers in public, don't discount that they may be out there, but they seem to be the minority.

Were people even chasing clouds when the first sign showed up? Was the technology there? When did the first signs show up, what year?

I mean no disrespect, I just want to separate the truth from fiction, sorry if you felt I was disrespecting you.

I would estimate that at least 70% of no vaping signs on business doors are the results of people complaining.
But it could have been because of a few wisps of vapor as well as a cloud.

This I can agree with, the percentage may even be higher. I believe it's the simple act of vaping that rubs people the wrong way, they may not know any better. Why not educate instead of demonizing our fellow vapers?

I knew if I kept trying I could find some middle ground!
