Rude people usually are the ones who ruin it for the reasonable ones.
Those are the ones who make the impression on the anti vaping types and the media.

Not sure that I want to buy food that someones exhalation vapor had settled on. Wouldn't the vapor carry any germy things the person exhaled?

I seriously doubt there could be anything "germy" that would survive on a piece of fruit let's say.........

VG does not kill germy things it just does not promote their growth. So it can carry germy things on vapor particles better than far less humid air will.

Let me know when you catch something from some germy vapor please.
For the record? Not every vaper uses only VG.I find it seriously mutes the flavors.
I prefer to have PG in my jooz since it is antimicrobial and it doesn't make me congested like all VG jooz's do.

The wheels on the bus go round and round.

People were arguing this exact same point on this message board three years ago with no conclusive results. This is an endless debate. Some people respect others and vape accordingly, some are hotheads who push envelopes just because they think they can -- or should. Happens in all walks of life, this is nothing different.

For the record, I'm in the "respect others" boat. The "I can do what I want" boat... yeah, just push 'em off to drift and let 'em be. Groups like that kill their wounded and eventually circle the drain. Let them.

And, as I mentioned earlier, almost all of the flavor bases are pg based...so those 100% vg juices....... Usually aren't.

I carry my box mod everywhere, in stores, in buses, trains, i NEVER take a hit in those places. No one says anything to me. I was on a train once and some kid was vaping on his mech. He was showing his buddies his "clouds". They were below average, i wouldve taken out my mod and showed him what a real cloud was but obviously i have common sense.

VG is antibacterial, I use and recommend about a tablespoon to kill a tooth ache, just swish it around for a few minutes. Works every time. :vapor:

Not sure where you shop, but they must have a crappy or no ventilation system. In the stores I frequent, those clouds would never stand a chance.

That said, I'm a very discreet tootle puffin' air head. :headbang::vapor::vapor::vapor::headbang:

This makes me laugh. Everything in our country is dictated by "uniformed people". What makes vaping any different.

Nothing at all. Which is why some clown blowing clouds at Walmart won't have any impact on the end game. To believe that is extremely naive.

It is only naive to believe some clown blowing clouds at Walmart will NOT have negative impact on public opinion. And having public opinion on their side only helps their cause.

Indiana HB 1432 just passed. It basically crushes everything vaping for our friends in Indiana. Its a major step backwards for our community.
Am I to assume that Indiana had an unusually high percentage of vapers blowing clouds in the Walmart?

Get serious....rather than trying to point the finger at our own, why not write your congressman instead?

I knew this was coming.

The majority opinion seems to be that this is about big tobacco and lost revenue. That vaping is doomed due to lost profits and taxes as we switch from one vice to another.

With no hard proof of any health hazard associated with vaping or second hand vapor the easiest way to fix this "problem" is by associating vaping with smoking. We will say "It's not the same" they will say "We don't know that so we shall err on the side of caution in the name of public health" and in the end ignorance will win the day.

Public opinion will not be of any consideration. There will be no vote. Those who we elected will decide what's best for us, whether true or not, and if you want the truth follow the money.

So if you think that vaping only where smoking is allowed will save us, it is my opinion that you are mistaken. Even if EVERY last one of us did that and never vaped in public, I believe we are still doomed, because of greed and ignorance.

Someone fogging up the aisle in Walmart is not nearly the problem.

It's naive to think that a puff of vapor will change anything.
States have already sealed the deal long ago .
See my earlier post in this thread.

1. Big tobacco cut settlement deal to pay states a percentage of profits.
2. States spend the money they haven't received yet.
3. Vaping has affected profits and thus, lowered BTs payments to states.
4. States cannot afford for masses to stop buying cigarettes.

Your clouds really have nothing to do with upcoming vape legislation.

However, they would love for us to keep debating this nonsense, rather than go after the politicians that stuck us in this mess in the first place.

It most definitely is part of the problem and if you can't see that then nothing anyone says will change your mind.

Mom with kids who has never smoked and is clueless about vaping sees it. She see what she thinks is smoke and goes straight to the manager to complain. Walmart (insert any store, restaurant or bar in it's place) now posts big signs at the entrances that vaping is not allowed. Everyone who enters after that sign has been posted now thinks vaping is bad..

One persons irresponsible actions have indeed caused irreparable harm..

That could happen. I can't open carry a firearm at Starbucks because of a similar action. I never went there anyway and still spend all of my coffee budget at Tim Horton's.

But to say that vaping in Walmart is going to be it's downfall is taking a very narrow view when there are much greater threats looming. It's going to happen anyway for other reasons. As far as I'm concerned it's a moot point, done deal. And you're right about one thing - you most definitely will not change my mind, though I hope I am wrong.

In the store I frequent you have to wait for the vapor to subside before you can see the people. Doesn't bother me one bit; it's a vape shop not the grocery store.

It's quite foggy in all the vape shops I've been to. It doesn't bother me (since I no longer buy juice and thus have no need to taste anything while there); it's just kind of a way to know if the vape shop is open -- is it foggy in there? Well then, they must be open for business. :D

I posted this in another thread but will post it here as well because people just don't get how their irresponsible actions effect everyone..

-----------------------------------------------------------

I have a friend who owns a pub and when I started vaping in 2009 he allowed it inside. Never a problem because back then cloud chasing was not even invented yet. Heck 3ohm was considered low back then.

Then came the cloud chasers and the people with no common sense. They blew massive clouds everywhere and customers, who don't smoke, and can care less about vaping, started to complain. It's a smaller pub that gets a lot of business for it's size but at times, the inside of the place looked like someone turned on a fog machine.

I was in there one day and there was a group of 4 or 5 vapers blowing massive and I mean massive and non stop clouds.

Guess what? You can no longer vape in his pub! The owner fully understands it's safe and when I talk to him he would love it if vapers could just be respectful of others and use some common sense.

The bottom line is that he was originally a supporter of vaping in his pub but that was ruined by irresponsible vapers and no one else..
