I received my requested refund from Janty today, but I had also opened a dispute with paypal. I hadn't escalated the dispute to get paypal involved in investigating the situation, but merely opened the dispute to make sure that my money would be in their account to return to me. My credit card was issued a credit, so there is hope to all those awaiting refunds. This was my first order with Janty and it will, unfortunately, be my last unless I see some serious changes in the company.

I guess the only way they are going to honor refund requests is to get deluged with Paypal disputes. I'd hoped to avoid that... I looks like they won't have it any other way.

My Dura-C arrived today.....plopped the batteries in the charger and waiting the necessary charge time.

I'm *very* surprised how small this thing is. Very surprised. Here's some pics...

Janty KB Classic on top (Pen Style)

KICK Mini in middle (I bought this to try them out...wasn't too impressed due to smoke production)

Dura-C on bottom (kinda in-between...but feels lighter than the KICK)

As for the white vs black atomizer...I know the kit said it came with two atomizers, one with a standard warranty and one with a reduced one. I am assuming the white is a visual cue as to which one is not covered. In the end, you're really getting two e-cigs...for $70.00, I think that's pretty fair, myself. Especially for a *control* model.

That's odd, mine had a white atomizer mixed in also. I wonder if when they receive them they are packaged like that and they forgot to separate some.
I have the Npro (rn4081) and I thought it worked good but Damn this dura puts out the vape!

Edit- DisMan I bet your right. The white one is probably the free non warranty one

Thats great you are working on your cases, I think the actual pen casing is the only part which doesnt look "special" because the black plastic. By casing I mean the external pen itself, not the carry case.
Also I like your external packaging for Janty and the look of the website is pretty nice!

My last question is:

If I have a Janty *KISS* battery plugged in my e-cig thats a dead battery, then plug in the usb passthrough into a power source, will it charge my dead *KISS* battery while in the pen or must I remove the *KISS* battery from the e-cig and charge it with the Janty "wall charger" ?

I can't say 100% regarding what the site said about the atomizer warranty on the day I purchased as the site has changed several times since I ordered. I didn't buy it for the atomizer warranty. I bought it for the looks and touted benefits, PCC and larger cart. All the fabulous pictures show 2 black atomizers. I expected 2 black atomizers.

I purchased a black Yeti set that included 2 atomizers, they are both black. I can buy it in manual for $49.99 right now. Every kit regardless of style I've ever bought, I have purchased at least 1 additional atomizer. Approx $60. We are not talking about something aesthetically interchangeable like a narrow gold band vs a thick gold band. With the white atomizer, we are talking a jerry-rigged looking eyesore.

I expect to get the model advertised in the pictures, nothing more, nothing less. JANTY DURA-C JANTY DURA-C SET

I agree, I dislike how they have a lot of nice photos for some products, but then the display photos are not accurate.
That is shady. I don't think they are trying to pull anything, the rest of their site is pretty accurate. They also tell you about the different atomizers in the description even if our problem is just that, the description and picture clash.

I still think they are a good provider of parts, but if they wanted to improve their customer service and website thats one place to do so.

I agree, this is just another example of Janty's poor comunication skils as of late. They should have stated on thier site wen they modified the warranty text that it would be white. And for those of us that ordered prior to that verbage being updated, we should get BLACK atomizers. They should be able to identify that by our order dates.

All this complaining aside, I do believe they a seller with honest intentions, but they are falling short here. If they wanted to identify the second atomizer for the warranty issue then they could have jsut left it black without printing the Janty logo on it or something of the sort. Just short sighted on their part.

I am however confident that they will eventually get things straightened out as thier mad rush of business gets dispersed among the other suppliers now selling the Joytech products and they have time to get thier act together.

The description "currently" says one atomizer has no warranty, it does not say it's an entirely different color that won't even look right. It's like buying a new car that's all beautiful and shiny, oops except for the doors which just have primer on them.

If they wanted to be able to easily tell one from the other they could have put in generic black ones without the little Janty logo. Easy to tell which is which, but still looks okay. At the very least they need to specify 1 is black and 1 is white, both in the description and pictures. Anything less is fraud.

Worst part is I've got 2 more of these fugly things on there way to me. Thank goodness for Paypal and chargebacks.

I will be requesting a refund from Janty. I ordered a warranty replacement *kissbox atomizer* on *FEBRUARY 8*. Jeff responded to my request via email on it, so ignorance is not an excuse. I ordered a Dura kit *FEBRUARY 10* along with another email that said it'd be okay to ship the atomizer with it to avoid extra processing on their part.

I have no recieved any confirmation, email or communication. I voiced my dissatisfaction in this very thread, and Ludo instead of addressing my complaint, pulled a crappy topic-switch (Gee, I'm sorry... BUT HEY EVERYONE, WE GOT A NEW PRODUCT COMING)... yeah real nice. I'm tired of getting the runaround from Janty.

"Did you email them?" Yes, I did.

Let me ask you Janty... since when is it the customer's responsibility to pester the seller about their product, much the less to find out about shipping delays, stock issues, and even try to resolve issues by hunting them down on a public forum? That's not just bad business, that's disgraceful. I'm simply fed up at this point. I've been more than patient.

Now with customers having to levy PayPal complaints to get refunds that you promised...

I sent in my dead atomizers last week and sent another email last night and still no response. Right now i consider it a loss but can i still file a dispute with paypal seeing as i only used the product for 3 days? Last response i got from them was it was sent on march 2nd and it's now the 23rd. I paid around $60 but that could've gone to something else. Should've just stuck with PS as at least i know he's reliable.

The pen shaped tube of your USB-E cable is not a battery, it is a connecting tube, the battery that will be charged while you are connected to a power source is the little e-cig battery inside the USB-E little black box.

The FREE 2nd DURA atomizer that comes without warranty and which we add to the sets (in case something should happen to your black atomizer during the warranty period) is white JANTY branded indeed. It serves as back up while your black one is being replaced. Thanks for the suggestion of a black one without logo but other suppliers might hold that against us :( Let me check if we could print something else on the spare ones in the future whilst keeping them black.

Today all DURA-C shipments should arrive with those who ordered previously. Jeff will refund those who mailed him for a refund, others will receive an answer on their questions. I am sure all will get sorted out asap.

Then you need to change the pics and description to reflect that. Anything else is FRAUD. The Dura-C I bought as advertised has 2 black atomizers and works with the PCC. I received only 1 black and a PCC that's currently useless. I did not receive what was advertised.

Who in their right mind would even want a white atomizer? You really expect someone to walk around with this thing for a month or 2 until you get around to a replacement?!? Why not put up billboards saying "Hey, we sell junk!" I paid more than elsewhere and waited patiently continually giving you the benefit of the doubt. Check my posts. I even had more orders but was going to wait until you all caught up. Don't see that happening now.

OK.. I've had it now. I'm normally a nice guy, not out to screw anyone. Not anymore.

After weeks of no communication, days since promised refunds have not materialized, I filed a Paypal dispute. What happens? An email? No. A follow up post here? No. A Refund? GOD No.

I get a message from Paypal that:
Xpressales has posted a message in the Resolution Center regarding this dispute.

What is this message you might ask? He added a f-cking shipping notice. After several promises by both Jeff and Ludo of refunds, after I file a dispute, he PRINTS A F-CKING SHIPPING LABEL.

The gloves are off. I never thought I'd narc on anyone for anything... but tomorrow (if not sooner) Paypal will be learning of how JantyUSA has been defrauding them of transaction fees by using a personal account. I have now made it my personal mission to put this ....... out of business.

thanks for telling everybody about the white atomizer after everyone buys a kit thinking they are getting two BLACK atomizers. good job.
