Just got my johnsons creek (no pg) sampler. Smoking on the strawberry right now, it tastes just like frankenberry cereal. It's really good actually and quite a lot of vapor. Will update when i try the other flavors.

It may have already been done, but I would like to know everyone's opinion on the throat hit factor for each of the flavors in the non-pg sample pack. I ordered one (24mg nic level) yesterday and I'm curious...;)

I've not tried all my NPG samples yet but I am using no nic and am VERY impressed with the throat hit. I've tried cherry, strawberry, mint choc, vanilla and peach cobbler and they all give me a darn good throat hit in my opinion. I'm using a pen style which I think gives a gentler hit and mild, sweet flavour. I should imagine this stuff would give a very satisfying throat hit in a 901b.

Hey im a newb. I got my johnsons creek juice yesterday in artic mint and strawberry. i got the non pg and it seems like im getting a bigger throut hit aswell. It took about 20 sumthin pulls till all the old crap was burned off, now it tastes awsome. I am using the njoy mini and im getting a lot of vaper. seems the non pg vapor sits a little longer in the air. hopfully my atomizer stays alive. The juice seemed very clear and not to thick so I think it will work out good.

Ok, so i have tried a few more flavors.

Honestly, i can't give a good review on this. This is the first time i've been using non-pg juice and i have to say that the vegetable glycerine has a distinct taste. It completely detracts from the subtle flavoring Johnson Creek has added. The product is simply inferior because of this. Propylene glycol is much more transparent, flavor-wise. I don't think i will smoke vg juice again, however, i will give Johnson Creek another try as i don't think this is a fair shake.
The flavor is there, and i dig it (it's subtle, but delicious), but it's just completely muted by the intense glycerine flavor.

re: throat hit

I'll have to smoke some again in a minute to really answer this question, but i remember the throat hit on the vg juice being quite impressive. I was expecting it to be less but it was quite good. I'll smoke some more of it and get back to you tomorrow morning.

Smoked hickory (couldn't pin this one down, might not be my favorite) and arctic mint.

The throat hit on the mint vg juice is good, but i suspect it's because of the mint. The other vg juices give impressive vapor, but about average throat hit for juice of this strength, imo. I'm definitely not ordering any kind of chocolate juice again. Chocolate is not my thing.

What interesting is, the glycerine seems to make every flavor taste like sugar cereal. The strawberry tastes like frankenberry, the chocolate tastes like coco puffs, the hickory tastes like smoked wood cereal???

I love the chocolate.

I second the Tennessee Cured. Really don't like the Peach Cobbler though. This is with a screwdriver. What e-cig does it taste good on?

Just tried the tennessee cured...might be one of my new favourites. I was smoking the peach cobbler with my 901b and it was subtle but quite tasty. The best flavour I've gotten so far is a cart filled with JC's sweet strawberry and topped off with Jane's Abandon Mint...mm, mm, good.

Ok, I just got my JC sampler (non-pg) high-nic pack about 2 hours ago.

First impressions:

I like the VG better than the PG. Comparable vapor, and good throat hit.

It IS sweeter than PG.

I think the nic rating is actually UNDERRATED. I feel like I'm vaping 50MG juice!!! and probably need to back off some.

So far I've tried the choc-almond-decadance, and the Ten. cured.

Ten. cured wins hands down. The chocolate is subtle, and overpowered by the VG, I think - but the nic hit is intense.

I'll post back when I've tried more, but right now I'm gonna quit vaping for awhile...

6string: quite a number of reports here about JC liquid getting "used up" quicker than other fluids. If true, this would increase the nicotine delivered per puff irrespective of what the strength on the bottle says.

It IS a little thinner, but I don't think it's getting consumed any quicker than the puresmoker non-premium juice I normally use. It may just be that I'm not used to the VG as a delivery medium... I don't really know. I DO know that the VG overpowers the flavoring - making it really subtle. Everything tastes sweet-ish. Takes some getting used to, but I still get a decent throat hit - which is very important. I don't like feeling like I'm smoking air...

This is really weird, but now that i'm running on external battery power i really like the vg juices and might purchase a big bottle of the vanilla ice cream flavor.
Try the strawberry dude!

Yeah, I'm planning on taking all ten of my little bottles with me to work tomorrow, and using Cash's USB to see...

Also, My Screwdriver is supposedly at the post office since no one was at home to sign for it today .

I'll be posting about that as well... he he he

I notice on their website they are touting the fact that they are switching to clear bottles. Personally, I don't think this is an improvement. Nicotine is light sensitive, so amber is a much better choice than clear. If they had to change, they could have changed to cobalt.

They announced it a few days before as "A Change is coming December 17th" or something like that. I was hoping it would be the three new flavors they promised in December.

I will still order from them. I make perfumes and my own skin care products, so I always have a ton of amber bottles around for essential oils and fragrance oils, but I find this change to be a bit irritating.

I do! I have lots of skin sensitivities (not to fragrances, fortunately) to all sorts of chemical additives in skin products - any synthetic detergent turns me red and itchy - eventually progressing to a rash and a burning sensation in my skin. The only surfactant I can use on my skin is actual soap.

I started making my own perfumes in order help control what went on my skin. Fragrance or essential oils, Everclear, and glycerin as a fixative - that's it. I've been doing it for about two years, and my days of bad reactions are gone. :D

On Topic:

Received my new shipment of JC today - Vanilla Ice Cream, Mint Chocolate, and Chocolate Almond. I am off to mix up some Vanilla with Pralines and Cream, And some Almond Joy flavored liquid!

Yum!

Cool

Strangely enough I have a strange reaction to pure soap, so I use liquid soap.

I've only been blending fragrances for a few months. I can't get Everclear here in New York unfortunately. I was able to get a very nice chocolate using Angelica Root Absolute, Vanilla, and Honey (fragrance oil).

Sorry for getting off-topic guys!
