I noticed when playing in my shopping cart that estimated shipping looked like this:

1 30ml bottle $5.94
2 bottles $14.56
3 or 4 bottles $8.62

Personally, I'd rather buy one less or one more bottle than pay such a proportionatly large increase in shipping to get exactly 2 bottles sent. I never noticed if that was how their shipping worked before or not, but figured I'd point it out in case anyone else was unaware.

Yea, purely-based VG is gone, from what I gather from the website the reduced PG is 70% PG and 30% VG.

I've read that a mix of PG and VG can cause carmelization on atomizers, so that mix could be potentially bad. It's buried on the forums here somewhere.

After further review, reduced PG percentages vary:
Tennessee Cured - 30% less PG
JC Original - 34% less PG
Arctic Menthol - 20% less PG
Espresso - 20% less PG
French Vanilla - 20% less PG
Chocolate Truffle - 20% less PG
Summer Peach - 20% less PG
Black Cherry - 20% less PG
Mint Chocolate - 20% less PG
Simply Strawberry - 20% less PG

It seems that the biggest sellers offer the most VG content. This is probably a cost-cutting move for the more exotic flavors.

1st edit: Also, the website MAKES NO MENTION of VG. Does reduced PG mean more flavoring? Is VG completely gone?

2nd edit: Under the 'Learn' tab, this can be found:

Reduced PG, VG, Vegetable Glycerine
A very small percentage of e-smokers have a sensitivity to PG. That's why we offer an alternative recipe. Our Reduced PG recipe uses Vegetable Glycerine as the main vapor-producing agent to create a similar vapor that is usually slightly thicker.

How the hell are we supposed to know if they are using PG or VG in the Reduced PG formula? The new website's information is conflicting with each other.

Grr....

I noticed that also and I don't like it one bit. But since I have already spent way over what I normally budget for I went ahead and just got the 2 bottles of Tn Cured. It kind of makes me mad though and I'll have to do some serious thinking before I order from there again.

From Johnson Creek FAQ

Q. What is reduced PG and what happened to Non-PG?
A. Although the vast majority of our customers choose our traditional PG recipe, a small number of people find propylene glycol to be an irritant (sore throat, etc.) In most cases, this is a minor sensitivity and a reduced-PG recipe will avoid the issue. We developed and revised (many times!) our new recipe to be even better than the great Smoke Juice we've become known for. We'll keep working on a Non-PG version and we'll let you know when it meets the high standards the you've become accustomed to. In the meantime, the reduced PG recipe will allow most everyone to enjoy our products.

This is so dissapointing! I have PG sensitivity - I am sure I will be affected by even small amounts of PG.

Another thing they state is that the new formula is 100% tobacco free - I presume this means that there are no tobacco leaf oil or concentrates??

They are coming out with their new forumla. They sent me a bottle of their new Tenn Curred as a beta tester advocating that it has more throat hit and vape----IMO---it does and is better-----Sun

Sun, are you not sensitive to PG? I am sure somewhere in the past I saw that you only vape VG liquids.

Did the new JC formula with PG cause you any problems?

I just visited Johnson Creeks web site to order more juice. I have probably purchased a couple hundred mils over the last 4 months and was very pleased with their product. They have a new site and a new product stating that it is a tobacco free juice that will pass FDA regulations. I ordered a couple 30 mil bottles and got to the shipping price. At this point the brakes went on. They increased their shipping price from around $4.99 to over $14.00. I wrote them a letter telling them they were insulting my intelligence, blah, blah, blah by raising the shipping cost and by not just by increasing the price of the product. I may still end up buying from them being the xenaphobe I am, but it ticks me off.

I ordered a Welcome to E-Smoking Kit V2 *last night* before the website changed over. I had better get the older flavors.

You are going to get the current 10 flavors to include the new ones... you will not get any of the old ones that are no longer listed such as Kona Coffee and Peach Cobbler. :(

I got some too and it has a stronger, less sweet hit. It also seems to be stronger nic than the 16mg they sent me.

I ordered 1 30ml of tenn cured then 2 15ml's of tenn cured ends up the same price for the juice but you get a lower shipping cost because its 3 bottles but its really the same amount of juice
