I just wanted to give it a try and it's working perfectly. The slotted ones are pretty big so I figured it would be wick better.....Especially if you use VG.
I played around with punching cartos today. I thought I'd try 2 x 1/32 with Boba's Bounty. Didn't work too well. I don't think I had it adequately loaded & burned it. Lesson learned.

You know, if you pucnh a light dimple in the carto, then use a 1/16" or 3/32" drill bit to drill just a little into the carto....but not all the way through. You could probably finish off the hole with a 1/16" or 3/32" punch....and you won't have any filings in the carto. What you'd be doing id thinning out the matal so the punch goes through easily without really deforming the carto. You get me?

Got you. I should mention the 2 x 1/32 worked fine with a carto properly loaded with Halo juice.

BP,

It's really easy, if your going for just a punched out type of hole in the side of the carto the best way is to just make a simple Jig for depth of drill, so everyone is exactly the same. If your looking to score the side of a carto you can do that by hand or put the carto in something so it can't move like a vice or best of all make another jig for depth of cut so everyone of your scores is exactly the same. These jigs you make could be done with a simple 2 X 4 piece of wood, or a piece of metal
