I've still got a week wait to receive mine but im guessing as long as the top of the ce2 just sits in the top plug to make a leak proof seal your right.
DIY's are almost done. I just have to do the finish work after work tomorrow, and re-size the tanks. They are the black delrin again. I didn't get a chance to order the colored material. I found the material that Cherryvapes uses for their drip tips, but I can't get it any bigger than 3/4". ksmith, I'll post some pics when they are complete. You probably won't see the difference, but I added 1/8" to the height, and I also added 1/16" to the overall height of the clear tubing on the maxi tanks. This should expose just a little more of the wick. I've got a mini that I did like that, and it vapes like a chimney. I REALLY like the mini tank.
Hairball, I received my tanks a couple of days ago, but because of work I haven't been able to play with them yet. What did you do to insert the Ce2 into the bottom cap?? Just looking for suggestions. ThanksReceived my kit yesterday. Vaped a whole tank through the mini already. Refilled it and vaped it half way. I took it to town with me to get my daughter. Even in my pocket, it didn't leak, laid it on my seat in the car, didn't leak, turned it upside down, didn't leak. I'm in love...no leaks. Very, very well built.
Most thing I love about it, it's easy to change the ce2. I've tried all the others and these are by far the easiest to use. I have nerve damage in my wrist and hands so pulling and pushing small things is really hard for me. I got mine assembled without begging for help.
Jon, keep up the excellent products you provide. I would love to see you make a tank that is friendly for a regular boge cartomizer...hint hint.
Thank you again.

I dripped a drop of juice on the base of the ce2 and both bottom and top caps (around the O rings). Kinda smeared it around. It slid together pretty easily with the juice on them. Took a little force but not enough to sets my hands/wrists off into agonizing pain. It holds together really well. I have it on my Buzz and picked it up several times by the tank. I also put it on hubby's provari (heavier mod) and did the same thing. It didn't budge at all.
Thanks Hairball. I will give the "juice" method a try when I get some time to "play". I appreciate your reply.
Thanks everyone. I tried my best to give a really good product at a fair price. I've been vaping my stainless tank with a stainless steel mesh wick and a 2.2 ohm coil I wound. WOW!!!! is all I can say. Unbelievable taste and vapor production. I found that if you cut off the small inner ring on the silicone cup, that it will help get rid of any "off" taste. The little lip on there actually contacts the coil and can give you a funky taste. Mine tasted like soap until I trimmed it off. Now its 100% juice flavor, no hint of wick or silicone taste. I'm loving this thing.
How exactly did you manage that, and what did you use to trim it?![]()
