I thought I wouldn't have to do that since I would be inserting the whole dual coil carto tube, so I wouldn't need that extra part for the secure connection.

Yea you're right those were different because the top cap didn't have a built in tip like the new ones. Either way, even if the tube is too short, you can have extra carto out the bottom cap so that it fits right on the top. Then punch a hole right above where the carto would be above the bottom cap. This is all assuming the carto slides in snug

Right, right. Guess I'll make the plug and buy a few since they are rather inexpensive. Have any suggestions on good brands or stores to buy them from?

last I knew litecigusa was the best price at $9 pack for smoketech dual coils. But everyone here will tell you to go with some standard sized boges.

This is 2 views of the same piece.

We may have a winner  I'm really curious to see the wood and stone ones before I decide.

They all look great Jon.

I just measured my tank and it's 1-5/8". Is that large enough for a regular dual coil carto?

XL DC Carto is 1-3/4 + long so you should be able to make it work 2 ways, either just let a little bit stick out of the bottom ( Tight O-Ring fit ) or just take a plumbers pipe cutter and cut 1/4" or less of the top of the DC Carto ! Your In !

He ain't the only one. Although I do wish I had a mercury to go along with my others. I'm just not into the colored tanks...I'm all about shades of grey :D

I will trade my mercury for almost anything you can snag in this next run, no wood colors they are awesome but won't match my set-ups

The newer DC Horizontal bottom coil Carto's from Kanger are some dam good Cartos also, they need to be cut 1/4" off the top to work but dam there good, got one running in one of my Lavas now. Also Crystalclearvaping ( Andrew ) usually has a good deal on Cartos as well as Vapor kings, and of course ordering them right from Shenzhen will net you the best deal of all, many forget they can do this, it is simple and quit effective if your looking to place a nice size order you will save a good bit.

which others? Whats your lava collection then

Just black and smokerings for now. Im not a lavawhore from way back like some of these guys. I helped instigate the first "unfortunates" list :D But I consider my Notta tanks as part of my collection. Not as pretty but they still work damn well.

And speaking of, the whole collection is topped off with juice and newly punched cartos replaced where they were needed (3 weeks per boge with the fsusa peach...love it). One more 12hr shift then 3 days off....see you guys in the morning

Can we have a Lava Tank Trade/Sale sub forum to keep those transactions just within the Corps?

Its funny cuz whenever you see one for sale or wtb in the classies, there is always a bunch of lavacorps bumps and usually purchased by a lavacorp too. I think everyone just wanted one for a while, and there is still the list obviously..but people have a little more room for trades now or whatever. I'm sure we could set up another thread like they did with the maintenance thread
