Oh, I was thinking of staying below the minimum resistance for vw-mode, and through that avoiding a vw-hit if jumping out of tc-mode. Still, my ti builds can easily handle over 30w so I shouldn't have any problems even if the VT would jump out of tc-mode.I'm cheap too...lol. I have a bunch of unused tempered Ni200 layn' around tho. Ti just rocks for endurance. Something to consider with Ni is the high tcr values. It forces us to build with lower res; less coil winding options. With the lower tcr of Ti .25ohm coils are no problem....no fear of exceeding the max res for tc....so no fear of jumping out of of tc mode.
