I am a little torn. This is really a device I can only use for a year and throw it away when the batteries are gone unless I feel like taking it apart and doing some soldering. I don't like the clear skin even though more colors are available. One thing that bugged me about the video as how the watts worked. It can't go backwards? I noticed it went from 30 to 60 watts....The video didn't say it would go down to say like 5 or 7 watts. I love the screen and the looks but I may wait to see what is worked out when it releases. If only the SX Mini would come out with dual 18650's inside and do away with that god awful extension tube  If the IPV4 had the SX 350J chip and no 9V charger bs, better build quality, usb charging, it would be the perfect device. The IPV4 and SX Mini need to have a baby together lol

A dollar a watt with two different types of temp control...wow
The Heatvape Invader Mini is a dollar a watt, has temp control and indestructible and with a .13 nickel coil its a cloud making armor plated war machine from hell  I have 2 of them. I put it down in my scuttle while I was shaving. It fired and I was vaping and shaving at the same time. I already ran over it with my fiance's SUV and it fired right up. One day I will catch a road crew out and ask them to steam roll the thing and see if it can handle that

Right behind you...
30w is the minimum setting when in VT mode...not that it can't throttle down lower than that to limit temps, just that they don't allow the user to set it lower than that as a base setting. That's probably to avoid having to include pre-heat code that may (or may not) be patented. Bigger, established companies like Joyetech can't play fast and loose with patents and copyrights like the small clone shops. For one thing, they're worthwhile targets with serious assets to go after if they can be shown to be infringing.

Anyway, in normal variable wattage mode, it's 1w to 60w (or 50w if resistance is between 0.15 and 0.25).

Though I'm not a fan of sealed battery devices, those LiPo batteries should be good for more than a year, I would imagine.
