what's wrong with using two AW IMR18650s...true IMR batteries, like the AW, whether 16340, 18500, or 18650 would provide the best stacking scenario possible...safe chemistry like the LiFePO4 it won't vent w/ flames.

"Won't vent with flames" is the key part. It'll still vent with pressure though.

Y'all are starting to make Oklahoma, with it's 102 degree very dry heat, sound sterling by comparison. High temperatures, PLUS humidity?
For right now, I may have to all but sit this one out. Summer's always been a slow time for my business, plus the kids have been helping to drain the ol' bank account during their visit.*
As much as I want to try the shiny hotness of the new TS, I do have two fully functional prior gens, plus a v2(AM) and the Grande. Sigh. I'll have to get a spare mouthpiece, and the aluminum centerpiece because I suspect they'll go fast.
The adjustable draw for non AFS folks on the new version DOES sound good. But truthfully, I only use the AFS/AVS exclusively**, and I'm less than thrilled about the different end caps for non AVS atties.
I'm not saying the current stuff doesn't sound wonderful, but that my current stuff just works too damned well to justify the expense for now. I guess that's a good problem to have.

I made the adjustable draw for all atomizers just because I wanted to make it. Of course I vape only on AFS with adjustable draw clyde. Dripping to me is totally useless. Of course there are people that still like drippind so I made the adjustable draw for them. I try to follow the rules of my signature buddy

Ah, I was number 3! I bet if I hadn't typed that gracious message to ya Rob, I could've taken number 1! Being that I'm in New Orleans Louisiana, I'm thinking I'll receive my package pretty soon

If I would have known you were in New Orleans I would have hopped on a plane yesterday and hand delivered it to you...lol I LOVE NEW ORLEANS. We were just there Memorial Day weekend and had a blast. I cannot wait till we go back again.

No, not yet. I was supposed to attend twice and missed out. My family has gone numerous times and says its awesome. Definitely something I'd be into though.

I agree, New Orleans is something else....No place like it...
They have done a REALLY good job bringing the city back to life....I am so happy they did....I thought for a while there they might not even rebuild the city...

True Rob....Very good point....Just because the battery is "safe chem" doesnt mean you cant have some kind of release and possibly get hurt....
In fact, Any battery, can let loose in one way or another.... weather it be pressure like Rob said or Li-ion, could be flames....
