Congrats on the job, Thomas! I know a few people working at Wal-Mart, and they really like it. Wally is flexible for students, but the work environment is consistent--you'll always know what to expect when you get to work on any given day.
Just wondering, folks: Is it common where you live for people not to have jobs until they're 18+? Almost everyone I know has been working since they were 16, many of them since 14 (or younger in unofficial capacities--I've been working since 12).

I've had friends work for Wal-Mart before and all but one actually spoke pretty highly of it.
The one who hated it was a manager.
I've heard that before, too. Once you start moving up, they start asking for you soul. Mm, delicious soul.
