Interesting fabric BJ. I just read up on it. That's mummy cloth :) Ramie - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Yep, it has been around for a long time... The individual fiber itself is very porous (absorption) and it has excellent adhesion (adsorption)....

So far this is as clean a flavor as the Ao wicks without the lag or dry hits...:)

Have two newly wicked kayfuns. 1.28 and 1.3 ohm vertical coils. One with hemp and one with ramie. In the process of vaping away girlfriend flavor from my fingers on both. This should be a good test on the second tank on each...:D

New learning curve on packing the ramie, had to open it up twice and pack it much denser than the hemp.

So now after months of pushing the vertical coil in hemp fiber, it is really hard to say this. Today my favorite setup is the TGT with dual horizontal 30g coils at 1 ohm with two ramie wicks thru the coils and a ramie flavor wick over the top at 18 watts. Learn from the wise. Thanks mamu...

My new standard, wet, juicy, and tasty. And if I get throat cancer it was supermarkets fault... I will start a Michael Douglas thread....;)

Something new to play with.:)

"The long, fine ramie fibers are naturally white and lustrous with an almost silky appearance. It is a cellulosic substance as is cotton, linen and other plant fibers. The inner structure of ramie differs from the other plant fibers in that the physical form of the cellulose is rigid and crystalline like linen but is a more porous sieve-like form providing it with even better absorbency than other cellulose fibers."

4 oz of Ramie..
