Some observations, its got a solid heft to it, I think it actually feels nice, the provari nust feels well made.
Someone in another thread compared the vari to a humvee. Since I've never gotten the chance to operate one I'll compare it to what I know, a m35a2 truck, not the pretties or fastest thing out there by any means but got the job done and that was that, no flash or glitter. Thats what the vari feels like to me, solidly built to last.
one thang for dang sure, it ain't no Cadillac or Ferrari, thats not what I wanted. I wanted a tractor or bulldozer and this sure feels like what I got.
Does it vape better than the evic? I think so. Is that psychosomatic because I spent over $200 on it? Possibly, but I'm happy with it and that is what matters to me.
Only bad thing now I'm going to have to get at least one more, probably with the extension cap.

Hehehe,, aint done blabbing yet.
I honestly think the menu is easier to navigate than the evics.
I'm almost positive the reason the vsri fires the atomizer when checking the resistance is to get a more accurate reading, most resistors go up with temperature and I see no readon an atty would be any different.
Similsr reason it fires the atty when checking the batt, It takes off the surface charge for a more accurate reading, similar to an automotive battery tester.
Ok, all done now.

I also cme from an evic, and notice better quality vape. Feels more responsive, and it's like the power instantly heats coils, while the evic felt like thy took longer to come up to temp

I didn't hate mine, actually liked it for the longer battery life, and it was my first VV mod...with that said, I though my ego batterie delivered better, smoother power...just not enough of it :)
Then I got the ProVari...I could never go back to an evic again. The power quality of the eVic, wasn't BAD, but a $10 kick clone in a $20 mech mod could give the same. I think most of the cost of the eVic comes from the display, interface, programmable features and computer software... That said, one thing I know I probably WILL miss from the evic is built in battery charger
