Love the lightning bolts but love the fact you feel comfortable enough here to share soo much of yourself even more! :)

Aren't they cool! They have different things you can pick to have like that. If they wouldn't have over done the rainbow peace signs (it was way to busy) I would have gotten those. Lol

Honestly I was just so floored at how well it ended up, and how comfortable it was that I couldn't contain myself. Lol its always been the plain boring pink skin colored ones before. Lol that and yeah I do feel comfy with you all. (T's don't tell T I said that.) Lol

Hey TT...when Wyoming decides to change the style of our plates...again...we'll send em to ya! Lol

Hey my gals, I'd love to have a set of Wyoming plates to add to my "garage" collection. That would be real nice.

Yeah, the pics are fine and that is great about the new prosthesis. Isn't it amazing the wonderful things we have today that help make lives a little easier for those who need it. It wasn't so many years ago that these units were still rather primitive. Good deal!

When we get a set of extra we might have to have you and tumbleweed do a juice bid for a set. Lol

And yes I am so glad that things have upgraded, I have had Prosthetics with zippers, shoelaces, etc. I llve velcro. And yep that applies on the ecigs as well. I am trying like hell to work in getting myself the infinity when it comes out. And trying to decide if I want to try some clearomizers as well or not. *shakes head*

Shell thats a great looking foot there Bro...Glad it's working for you...Makes me thankful that even after a life as a daredevil all I have is aches and pains....

Yep exactly! Wouldn't ever wish it on my worse enemy to be missing a limb. Lol

Yay, congrats! Less pain and new freedom, has to be wonderful! What a beautiful pattern too. :)

Thank you. Yes hoping less pain, but I was totally warned that I am going to be using some muscles I haven't to learn to walk again. We shall see. Lol yep the pattern turned out really cool! I love it.

between here and there
Shell,
You may want to consider using some anit-inflammatory meds like motrin or ibprofen 800 mg or so to help with the discomfort you will have during this process. I prefer this as an alternative than the ones that make you loopy. Non-addictive too. Just a suggestion so take it for what its worth.
Love the colors you chose. Spiffy.
wv :)

That looks great, Shell. It has a line and design that just seems to make sense in my head as "a foot." Usually prosthetics I've seen don't look so ergonomic.

I'm glad you feel so at home here, and I hope it's as comfortable as it looks and you get some relief. It's also cool that it's such awesome colors!

They usually aren't that spiffy at all although it would have really looked cool if they would have made it with the toes. Lol

Yeah I looked through all their colors and that was the one that I could see would work really well. :)
I was told that if I have any problem with it that all I have to do is call and they can heat it up and remold what is bothering me

Thankies. Yeah when I am having fibro days I take ibuprofren. The doc put me on tylenol with codiene besides my buspar. I don't take the tylenol because I end up really loopy. I do take a ib pm at night to help sleep because of pressure points and insomnia some nights. Infact monday I am going to see the doc for update and refills.

I think there were 20 or 30. They even had a money skin that I laughed at a bit.
I am wearing it now to make my indent on the memory foam. I only have one place on the front there where its bugging me a bit, but hopefully like he said it breaks in there. Hell they said I wouldn't be able to wear my crocs and it fits in there perfectly.

Now if I could get that type of skin for my egos. Lol

OMG that thing looks sweet!!! My old neighbor in San Diego who was a nurse was in an automobile accident and she has a prosthetic limb but hers is nothing like yours. She has a sort of metal rod and then a sneaker is attached to it that she can change. Your is soooo fancy. If I still had her number or email, I would show her your pictures because I know she was looking for a better one. Prosthetics have came a long way, it so exciting to see.

PS...I think we WILL dawn you as "Lighting Shelly" or "Lighting Shell" now lol

Lmao! That is too funny! If only my .... moved that fast.

Have noticed the older I get the slower I get. *sigh* oh wait that could be from the fact due to having lazyitis?

Awwww you will be okay. It still amazes me at the people who are runners and they have the ones with the bendy jumpy things (you can tell I don't know the name of them lol).

Is hers above the knee because they have some really sweet ones now adays where they can change from a runners leg, to one for going out on the town. Its really cool because its solid looking just like your other leg. :) hopefully she will be like me and need a new one and then see all these fancy ones they have now. :)

I can't think off hand what they are called, but its crazy how it gives them a spring in their step just by the way its bent.

I do have to say I am floored at how much feeling I have in this one. I can "feel" my toes per say and haven't had that sensation since I was six. It is something to really get use to.
