Hello all. I am relatively new to vaping, obviously, and i've only had the Kbox mini a couple weeks and this issue popped up. I had just built a new could in the rba and threw it on. (It wasn't my first time using the RBA) I took a couple hits and then my mod wouldn't fire anymore. There isn't a short as it is still reading the ohms. It isn't the pin either. I pulled it up and even took the thing apart to try to fix it. It isn't the batteries fault either. I took my battery out and put it in my brothers mod and it works fine. I also tried my RBA on my brothers mod and it works there too. So I looked at the screen when I tried to fire it. It reads .6 ohms at 25 watts but only 1.1 volts? Why? I can see no reason that it would suddenly do this. Any help?

It sounds, thru the Process of Elimination, that you have checked and the Battery and the RBA/Atty works. So about the Only thing left is the Mod.

About the only thing I could say is to try someone Else's Atomizer on your Mod. And if it doesn't work, or the Ohms/Watts/Volts are Funky, then it would seem to point all the blame on the your Mod.

BTW - You've tried Locking/Unlocking your Mod a Few Times. Right?

BTW2 - Welcome to the ECF.

By locking and unlocking it do you mean turn it off and back on a gain a couple times? I have taken out the battery several times and nothing changed.
Look in the 510 connector on the mod and make sure there isn't anything like metal shavings or distorted rubber ring.
Why would a distorted rubber ring make a differnce? and no I don't believe there are any metal shavings in the connection.

A distorted rubber ring, or crusty juice on the 510 connection will cause either a severe voltage drop, or complete loss of connection. That's why it's important.
Take a cotton ball soaked with alcohol and wipe out the inside of where the atty screws in, make sure it's clean, as well as the bottom of the atty, where it screws in.

...

Yeah. It sounds like something is Wrong with your Mod.

But try a Friend's or your Brother Atty on your Mod to make sure.
