has anyone thought about trying quartz tubing? @ lord that coil is purty!!! And my Katana is officially in New York this afternoon!!!!

Thank you :) I am amazed that the coil in the G-tank has lasted this long too. It's by far the longest time a coil has ever lasted for me. I keep waiting for it to fail during a cleaning, but it just keeps going and going and going and......

I thought red was bad?

It is but I was burning the coil dry to show that it is in fact still working after all this time. Notice when it is fired while there is juice on it there is no glow at all.

It's black as night now after all the use it has seen, but still fires reliably and tastes as clean as a whistle :)

I just hope this is as easy to use as my new Zenisis....:)

Yes, it is just as easy. I have 3 Katanas and a Zenesis Mini. They are comparable. I think in the end the Katana is a touch easier to use because the wire screws are both the same so you need just one tool to change out a coil :).

The ooSTURMoo G-Tank is a monster to setup compared to the katana though! After 20+ consecutive failures with my g-tank, I finally just gave up and traded it and my line v1 for an iAtty and a 2nd Ody+expansion. Katana is the easiest Gen I've used to far, but then again, I haven't tried that man. Next on my list are an Orion v2 and a Z-Atty-G.

That's how I clean them. Burn dry and get it red hot and while the button is still pushed, run it under cold water. The gunk that was on there should fall right off. If it's still dirty, dry off and repeat till it's clean.

Your next tank of juice will taste as clean as a fresh coil without the break-in :)

That is odd. I never had a problem with my G-Tank. I had it perfect on the first try. Those pics are literally the first and only coil/mesh I ever had to do on the G-Tank. It's been working like a charm. I did have to fix the connections under the atty (the "S-Wire") but that was done pretty easily too. It does vape like a cannon and the flavor from the G-Tank is really right up there among the best I have ever tried.

The vapor was initially very cool, but after the break-in and using it the way it is, it eventually settled in and now give a pleasantly warm vape. Not as warm as a coil over tank setup, but not cool either. :)

If anybody out there has a G-Tank they don't want or just don't use anymore, please let me know. I'd be willing to buy it if its in good condition :)

lord33 what did you think of my last post, if you can still waiting for an answer thanksssss

I could do one, but I am not sure there would be enough interest to keep costs low for everyone. I'd have to buy a bench top saw and setup a jig to be able to make them quickly.

I calculated wrong before too, each length of tube is 1m so each one makes 32 tanks + tools to make them very quickly to get them out to whoever needs them in a timely fashion.

If the interest it there and there are 32 tanks ordered then they would work out to $3/tank + shipping (that would probably just be flat rate small envelope or small box so $4.70 or $5.15 in the USA).

If there is interest enough for 64 tanks then the cost goes to $2/tank + shipping. The costs level out after that. Calculating for 96 tanks they come out to $1.90/tank.

I guess, in the end, you guys tell me if you feel it's worth it do a co-op. If there are enough orders to justify the costs I will pull the trigger, register the co-op and start a list. I would imagine it would be about a month from purchase to shipping because we need to give folks a chance to get on the list, then order the supplies which take time to get to me from Australia. The fabrication and shipping part would be quick and hopefully not too hard to do for everyone.

Of course I'd probably want to reach out to Hybrid Mini owners too since they use the same tanks as the Katana and I know there are a number of folks out there that want tanks for their Hybrid Mini's too.

i think we can try to put a co-op out there for it and see how many people respond to it, but like i said it would have to be prepaid, so you won't get the short end of the stick. Pay all that money do the work and everybody says later there not interested, so definitely pre-paid and i am all ready down for three as we speak regardless co=op or not even if you have extras of your own

I think I should post a possible co-op in the modders forum for Katana and Hybrid Mini owners and let it hang out for a week. If there is enough interest I'll setup an official list and we'll go from there. If it happens I'll do my best to make sure that it is a very quick turn around from payment to delivery. :)

Orion, Mini and Maxi by Van are all the same size tube also.
IF you do this, and dont mind the extra sizing cuts. This would make your co-op move very fast.
Just sayin..

I didn't realize they all used the same tube. I would imagine they are all different lengths though. Do you have measurements for those. If they are different lengths the yields per tube could be different and may lower the overall costs per tube.

I would have no issues making them for all the different mods that use them. I have made many of them now so they come out square and clean and the inside edges are chamfered so they slide nicely over the o-rings :)
