Hey HB, I still have to reconcile what you said with the fact that Kayfun guzzles more juice than any other tank I have tried with similar coils and voltage ... Why is that? I get your point about the efficient balance of liquid to air, but juice consumption is an entirely different matter. You can have two carburetors with equal efficiency but one made for a truck, and the other one for an economy car with a lower fuel consumption. To answer my own question, I suspect the Kayfun was designed to deliver maximum flavor regardless of juice consumption.
I rewicked and cut it a bit shorter and the gurgling issue has gone away. Back to a nice quiet vape. Thanks!Too much wick could be the cause of gurgling. Try vaping a few times through the air hole. The burgling should go away, at least temporarily.
I unscrewed it some and the resistance jumped to over 2 ohms. I screwed it back down a little and it went back down to 0.5. Unscrewed again just a hair and got it back to 1.6 ohms or so. Has anyone had this problem? Is it something I should be concerned about? When I plugged the KFL into my ohm reader it's reading a consistent 1.68 ohms.So I put my iStick 20 on the charger last night and this morning when I went for my first vape I got the message "Low Atomizer." I looked at the screen and it said 0.5 ohms!?I unscrewed it some and the resistance jumped to over 2 ohms. I screwed it back down a little and it went back down to 0.5. EDIT: Now it's reading 0.0 ohms and when I hit the button it's saying "Atomizer Short". If I unscrew it just a hair it reads back at around 1.7 ohms.
I would check the 510 connection. Might be the screw hitting the inside of the threaded part.
I'm actually using some adapter that came with it because it looks better. It lifts the KFL up off the top of the iStick. I posted a pic of it a few pages back. You can pick up Eleaf's Bending Adapter for it or always use an Ego to 510 adapter. The threads are very poor on the 20W and will eventually strip out on you.

I'll post it again...

You can't really see the adapter to well in that pic but you get the idea.
Just tried taking it off and screwing the KFL directly into the iStick and I get a "No Atomizer" messageThat does not look better with that adapter on it. It would look a lot better without it.
Worked perfectly! Slight pry all the way around a few times and it's making a connection. Also seems to be working fine when screwed down. No issue with a short or showing low resistance. Screwed directly into the iStick and it's showing 1.6 ohms. Maybe it was some funkiness with the adapter?I would say the pin on the iStick is pushed too far down. What you can do it take a little screwdriver and gently pry the center pin of the iStick up, work your way around the pin prying in a new location each time.
Then try the KFL on it and see if it works.
For those thinking of getting a spare Kayfun, MFS has a sale at a very reasonable price. PLUS, as an ECF member you get an additional 10% off.

Ok so I'm not the only one who has seen that sale...
Do we know if it is a clone? Not that it matters a whole helluva lot to me, as it would rub shoulders with my collection of clones and authentics, but I always like to know for sure.
