A lot of the KFL bases on FT are pure junk, it's really a hit and miss for quality. You would be much better off if you can find an EH Pro version of the kayfun Lite V2.
Such as here:
EHPro Kayfun price, harga in Malaysia, wts in - lelong
????Well than... Roll over.
You said both sides so agitate on your left side then roll over so you can agitate on your right side.????
Bronze. Many thanks for taking the time to reply, but as others have said, I am looking for help in making up a couple of Kayfuns from the available parts on FT. Just too many to choose from without guidance, and the parts that I like seem to be discontinued.
Anyway, maybe someone will kindly help.
I have a kayfun Lite which I have hardly ever used. If you are located in the US, I can let you have it at no cost.
I have to agree with that. I think less is more, but I may be wrong...My wicking is hit or miss yet but love it when I get it right!
Oh... never thought of that! I've wicked dry. I've been trying to do it like the original Kanger RBA decks. That seemed to work pretty good but if I just want it touching the deck, I've been using too much wick. Thanks !Just make sure the ends of your wicks touch the horizontal deck. Don't need any more or any less. Saturate the wicks with juice. Paste the wicks against the posi block wall and just be sure the ends touch the deck. Do this with the chimney off so you can see your work. Once happy with it then screw the chimney on.
Cool, thanks!
Cool, thanks!
Trim a little cotton off the sides of the tail. They shouldn't move if you have them pasted on the sides unless you have a lot of cotton.Redid mine wet like the picture yesterday and it seems to be working great! The only problem I had was screwing the chimney on wanted to pull the one tail off to the side. I used a piece of Kanthal and rearranged it after I had it screwed on.
