Have the newer version now, and the juice channels seems bit deeper.
The tip might also be a hair lager diameter at the end but I change mine anyway to a large bore.
one tank in to this and its rockin'
Threads are great too
NOTE:
Clean the he'll out of these things, use a degreaser like orange cleaner, and q-tips then use dawn, these are loaded with machine oil.

Finally received mine. Won it almost a month ago on the mod envy show but he's been out of stock half that time. The delay gave me time to get a few inexpensive RDA to learn building on and I've certainly enjoyed dripping as I've learned. I built a 1.1 ohm coil, 28 gauge around a screwdriver shaft (cheap Harbor Freight thing so I've no clue as to actual diameter) and wicked with cotton. It's wonderful, now I understand what everyone's talking about.

However, I had an initial problem. Since this was my first tank RBA build, I was cautious and filled from the top before I screwed on the top cap. I filled just to the top of the clear portion of the tank where it screws into the top cap. Everything seemed fine. I had even test fired it with just the center chimney on but without its top cap after I manually soaked the cotton. When I pushed the drip tip onto the top cap a bunch of juice squirted out the air hole, the one in the side of the deck. Then more leaked out when I set my mod down to clean up the initial spill. After 3 or 4 good draws, with the mod rotated and tilted slightly to keep the air hole topmost, everything became fine. No leaking since, great flavor and vapor. I'm loving it.

My question, what did I do wrong. What caused the squirt out of the air hole? Should I worry that I'll get leaking if I refill from the bottom using the screw hole?

Is the silver and black edition the same thing?

Basically yes just a way to market their "new and improved... clone" Isn't that a oxymoron?...anyway Add an extra tank say it has a longer air tube ,better steel (how the hell would you know) and that's it everything else is exactly the same if not how can you use all the parts and tanks made for the original kayfun....

If it's magnetic or not is about the only way to gauge stainless steel quality short of placing it in salt water.

Anyone drilled a 5/64 hole with just a hand drill and their hands? Putting aside the cautionary measure of the procedure, how clean are the holes?

What I mean is that when I drilled it out with a 1/16 , to me It felt like it was a straight hole doing down and felt like it wrecked havoc doing all the way down lol. Idk it might be a clean drill down. Just afraid the 5/64 would ruin the top

When drilling stainless you really need to use machine oil, it's so hard it destroys bits like nobody's business.

Fill from the bottom only.. my guess,, without the covers on, fluid crept up and wicked into the chamber, filling it too high, then you created more pressure inside the body when you put the drip tip in place, maybe you had your finger on top of the tip while doing it.. this is a vacuum only device..

If you wanna fill from the top, you gotta make sure that you have a finger shutting off the airhole. Once you're done filling, screw on the top cap slightly just so that the threads catch. Turn the RBA upside down so that the air bubble floats up. Remove your finger from the air hole, then tighten the top cap fully.

The problem with simply screwing on the top cap is that as you screw it on, you're essentially "compressing" whatever air was caught in the tank. This forces the juice through the channels, onto the deck and out through the airhole (aka flooding). Tightening the top cap upside down allows the excess air to escape.

Also a great tip for clearing out a flooded kayfun. A lot of people will recommend that you turn the atty upside down and blow through the drip tip. This will help clear whatever excess juice out through the air hole.

Something that I learnt not too long ago is that instead of blowing through the drip tip, simply vape with the atty upside down. This will help to vaporize the excess juice without additional liquid getting fed to the deck. Works like a charm, and you get few solid puffs without wasting em by blowing. Word of caution though; if your atty is super super flooded, doing so might cause the juice to get into your mouth through the drip tip

I'm just tired of these clone companies coming out with a catchy name saying it's new and improved just to sell a product. By the time you spend money one or two of these you may as well get an original. That's the way I look at it now imho.

In my opinion, you offer to many uninformed opinions.
You constantly show up and bad mouth things and admit you have no first hand experiences with them.
KFL+BE is not a catchy Name, it is a Specially packaged piece, Modified to offer Upgrades not found on other KFL+ Clones or even the Original.
For the cost of 1 original, I have 2 B.E. and both work FANTASTICALLY.

I have no problem with anyone buying Originals but I'm getting sick and tired of people having issues with others buying 1:1 copies for 1/10 the price. Some choose to save a few bucks for better things in life.:glare:

^^ that. I had 8 authentic kfl and r91s, and 12 clones. The clones have all worked incredibly well.

In a perfect world, we could ALL afford all the authentics we want. But for many others it's not a realistic route to go. This forum would just be a way better place and most certainly better for the entire vaping community (both the more and less well off) if everyone could be nice and offer positive feedback and comments

In a perfect world I'd be able to buy authentic mods that don't get cloned... :(

As someone who owns both authentics and clones, mods specifically have become a sore spot for me.

Almost 100% of the time authentic RBAs/RDAs offer a step up on build quality, performance, etc. They always function better, but not so with mech mods. While all the mods I currently own have acceptable voltage drop, the top performers are all clones! And sometimes the cost difference between the authentic and its clone is astronomical!

Put simply, I want my best performing RBAs to sit on my best performing mods.

These mod desginers need to step up their game in my opinion.

Oh yeah I only prefer authentics attys though clones are just as good. Im not of a dipper so if i do wanna try a new rda clones r perfect. But most people buy mech mods for its uniqueness, design, and function. Like a designer watch. Mech Clones kinda kill the uniqueness of it. I just got a real PB sting ray and the infinite clone of it. The clone is fantastic but at the same time makes me sad lol.
