After a quick look over on eBay it looks like all the tobeco v2 KFL+ clones (black/silver/etc) are all sold out, only ones available are the more expensive Ehpro clones.

I can't say anything to their quality, but I am enjoying a great vape on a tobeco v2 clone right now as my authentics don't leave the house.

I ordered one of the new(?) EHPro Kayfun Lite Plus clone kits (comes with a clear one piece tank in addition to all the "usual" parts) from 101vape before they sold out. This is the last Kayfun clone I throw money at. If this doesn't pan out, I'm sticking with Taifun GT clones from here on out.

Those are just easier for me to work with.

I have the Tobeco KFL+ and was just wondering if anyone knows if I can adjust the deck screw further in? My center pin sticks out quite a bit at the moment.
I have a 'black box' edition so maybe I am misunderstanding you (g). On mine, the center (hollow) pin/screw that allows air to get to the coil and holds the positive mounting block in place stuck up too far. I took a fine file and filed it down flush to the top of the mounting block..

The center 510 connection pin screws into the center/hollow pin. This makes the center pin adjustable for flush mounting. On mine the center/hollow pin isn't threaded up far enough so it maked the connector pin stick down too far below the 510 threads. Hope that makes sense. So I'm looking to find out if I can screw the hollow pin further up, thus letting me screw the 510 pin further up.

Same thing my hollow centre pin stuck up waaaay too much. What kinda file did you use? A link/picture would be awesome hahaha (I'm not a very handy-with-tools kinda guy)

I can't comment on the size of the deck on the v2 clones, but I can say that I've had everything from 20/80 pg/VG to 100% VG in it, and vaping in hot and cold weather and I haven't gotten a flood or a leak.

The only time it flooded and leaked was when I had it in the bathroom and turned the shower on and forgot about it. I came back 20 minutes later to basically a sauna and a leaky clone.

Also had my first few dry hits on the clone. Weird, but gonna see how it goes

I had a dry hit the other day too, but it was with really thick juice and I was chain vaping. I just did some off-power primer puffs, 5-6 in total and let it sit for a minute.

That cleared everything up and I am still vaping the same juice on it right now. That was two tanks ago, so I'm going to call it a fluke. I'm curious, have you had any more dry hits?

So I've put the clone through it's paces and having the weirdest experience.

I find that the only time I ever get a dry hit is where I leave my PV alone for anything more than 10 mins. The first puff is the dreaded slightly scorched taste. But apart from that, never a single dry hit. I also took the liberty of having a little trial run. 100% VG Boba's bounty, 1/16 drill bit, 8 wraps, 1.6ohms, 4V, provari. Went through 3ml of continuous vape (without inhaling except for my first, last and a middle toot). Absolutely no dry hits. I was confused enough to try that on 2 different builds, wasted a total of 6ml, and got the same exact results. I'm stumped to be honest.

But the bright side to that is, the shallower juice channels definitely presents no issue at all for me, although right now I'm just plain confused as to why my first vape is always a dry hit. But now I just take 1 deep and 1 quick primer puff without powering it before I start vaping and haven't had a single dry hit since. YMMV

After a few hours of experimenting with my clones (some with more shallow channels, others with what appear to be "standard" channels) I've realized that you CAN accommodate the shallower channels by adjusting how much cotton you use, the diameter of the coil (smaller diameter seems to wick better, because less cotton), and how precise you are with placing the wick tails on the deck.

I have almost monstered these things. ;)
