Kayfun lite plus black clone edition

Sorry BE stands for Black Edition. It is a custom, made to spec version of the kayfun Lite Plus clone. It is not standard issue and is manufactured by Tobeco.

I have the Ehpro KFL+, not the v2. My point was that nothing changed in their design that would positively or negatively affect the vape between the two, so my comparison is still accurate and up-to-date.

The Ehpro overall manufacturing quality seems to be slightly better, but I do not prefer it to the newest version of the BE.

They have the same size airhole, but the draw can be made airier on the BE. The juice channels are MUCH better on the BE as well. Again, they don't look as nicely machined, but they function a ton better. I can put 100% VG through the new BE without an issue, where I've had issue with thick 50/50 juices in the Ehpro.

I do own both. I have 3 Ehpro KFLs and 8 new BE KFLs. In my rotation of 12 tanks I'm currently only using authentics (KFL v2, R91 v2) and new BEs though. The Ehpros are sitting in my cabinet, all boxed up.

I should also mention that the Ehpro is BETTER than the original BE.

how many black editions are there? the one I'm referring to was made/cloned by custom mods creation

Custom mods creation doesn't manufacture anything, they just sell the black edition manufactured by tobeco.

Hey fellas, I bought a pre-order black from custommods on the 11th but haven't gotten so much as a peep from this guy. I know it's supposed to ship in two weeks and tomorrow is the two week mark, but I'm surprised I haven't been sent anything other than the PayPal receipt. No tracking info or anything. Is it normal for PayPal purchases to not show a tracking number? I don't ever use it.

That's completely typical for Artemis, the person behind the company. Extremely terse, bordering on irritating. As you've been told he is really good at replying to email. You may just get a word or two as an answer but you will get an answer.

Can't speak for anyone else but I bought my KFL+ BE clone from privatedeal2010 on ebay. I sent the first one back because no matter what I did I got a burnt taste after the second or third drag everytime. I would have one good drag and then nothing but burnt taste until I set it down waited and started over. Returned it and the replacement did exactly the same thing now I'm stuck with the second one that I have to sell at a loss because I don't do machining modifications to any attys that I buy. I know how to build a Kayfun and I know the problem wasn't on my end. Both of the attys were cleaned thoroughly twice with Dawn before use. The only thing that I can conclude is that the batch I bought from has channels that are too small. Same burnt taste with RBA Supplies xc-116 & 132, silica, and cotton (w/1.9 microcoil).

I really need another KFL+ to take back and forth to work but I'm not buying an original and I hate the original Russian 91% blasted finish. Any advice?

Here's what I'm deciding between:
KFL+ clone - Ehpro, Tobecco, or suggested others
Russian 91% authentic - black or ss polished
Russian 91% clone - black or ss polished

All help and suggestions appreciated!

Original date was 3/14, just got the replacement about a 3 days ago. Both had undersized juice channels and same burnt taste.

Oh. How weird. I just got 6 2 days ago, and all of em had really deep channels. Ack. Tough luck buddy. Any chance you could get a picture of the deck and post it here?

Are you looking for the thread size of the screws to buy replacements?
If so the post screws for the kayfun are stainless steel M1.6x3mm pan head. You can also buy screws with different style heads.
