So... Some of y'all know I'm a huge fan boy of the black edition clone. Unfortunately I've actually found a pretty significant point of failure.
So my oldest BE is approx 3 months old, and the threads between the center post and the small adjustable 510 pin is pretty much stripped.
While it still works, the 510 is no longer adjustable (it pretty much just slides back in as far as possible). That pretty much makes it unusable on my provari with the tatroe pro ring. Wouldn't be an issue for folks who use mods with shallow or adjustable 510 connection though.
So... Although I pretty much never ever over tighten my atty, I'm gonna hazard a guess that that's what causes it. So yeah. Don't over tighten your atty!!

The EHpro that I bought came with that lil screw stripped.
The seller was nice enough to refund and send a prepaid bag to return it
Interesting... Seems like the clone makers aren't up to par when it comes to the small intricate parts like the adjustable 510 pin. My russian91 has been through a TON of abuse for many months, and the threads are still solid. Oh well :/

Alrighty. Got my tiny orings today and placed it at the tiny 510 connect and it protrudes far enough to make connection now

Has anyone bought any of Arty's other products? I don't have a mech mod yet and I've been eyeing that Atomo V2 pre order.
Not me, but if I had to buy a mech mod clone, my choice would be one from hcigar. IMO they have the best mech mod clones, although I wouldn't know if they made the atomo

FYI, the 101Vape Kayfun Lite Plus V2 came in, and it's a good unit; nice air flow, and quality build. Just an alternative if anyone is interested.
Back to BE problems again... I put in a perfect cotton/microcoil build and filled correctly, tried all airflow positions and still getting dry hits after the first good pull. So freaking frustrated with this thing. My 3.1 has been working perfectly with the same build for months.
Any chance you could take a picture of the deck? Hahahaha

I also have a 3.1 version and it isn't as particular with it build as the lite series are. If you haven't seen it Rip trippers got a excellent you tube video for building the kayfun/micro cotton build. Before I ever fire mine I take three hard draws and make sure I see at least a air bubble rise to the top. If it doesn't tilt it sideways to help release the air lock. Once it gets going it usually good. One other tip, I use a bit less cotton for the lite than the 3.1 it just helps it to wick better.
just picked up one from vapev on ebay, excited to try it out and compare it to my other kayfuns!
Got the BE in the mail yesterday. Looks solid and well made. Left it in hot dish soap water over night and I'll give it a vodka bath tonight after work. So freakin excited to finally try this thing out.
Had my BE for over a week now but haven't had a chance to order 6mg juice.. I filled it up with 12mg and it was working great but damn I was getting nicotine rush after only a few pulls... crazy how hard it hits you compared to cartos/clearos.. Happy to step down to 6mg though!
