can you please explain what you mean? The draw on mine is SUPER tight

When you received yours, did you disassemble and clean it COMPLETELY? I mean every single screw and insulator needs to come out and be cleaned. The center post needs to be removed as I had some plastic burrs from the insulator lodged in the air hole in the screw.

1.) Take EVERYTHING apart, including removing all o-rings. Inspect the center pin and air holes, be sure to remove any excess plastic burrs.
2). Soak everything overnight in hot, soapy water.
3). Rinse everything off, then take a toothbrush and dish soap and get to scrubbing. Rinse again.
4.) Optional, but I then soaked everything in Vodka for a couple hours to be sure I got rid of any oils, scents, ect.
5.) Reassemble, and you are good to go.

Seriously, I own a legit KFL+ and R91. I now have 3 Blacks (loved the first so much, I ordered 2 more). The airflow on the Black Edition is just as good. Opened wide up, it is MAYBE the slightest bit tighter than the KFL+, if at all. However, if you aren't sure to clean it well, you probably won't be pleased with your airflow being blocked off.

Never heard a whistle as some people commented on. I can tend to chain vape and have not come close to getting a dry hit yet. It seems I got the cotton packed and the right length perfect on the first try. "lucky me" This thing is hitting hard, the juice is exploding, like eating a bowl of rice crispies.
As Tony the Tiger would say... It's GRRREEEAAATTTTTT!!

The whistle issue should be easy to solve for those that have that problem.

When you take the center post out, the pits is actually two screws; The small screw that is adjustable and the larger post/screw. E larger post has a hole in the middle of the shaft for your airflow to pass through. To avoid the whistle, you need to be sure that when you tighten down the center post, the hole in it aligns with e airflow hole on the outside deck. It should be easy to align because the hole in the post is always either parallel or perpendicular (I can't recall which it is on this particular clone) to the notch that your flat head screwdriver sits in.

If I don't have the center post aligned just right, I'll get the infamous "whistle" even with my real KFL+ or R91. Personally a little whistle doesn't bother me to the point that I'd tear apart a perfectly good build to fix t, but it's easily solved when you have the device taken apart for cleaning/re-wicking.

Been using my kayfun black edition for a few days.. its awesome but when I rebuilt it today and unscrewed the negative post (I left the screw in the threading still) I went to tighten it down again.. and it won't tighten.. the same screw I had tightened down the past couple of days wouldn't tighten back in.. I think I got lucky the first time as tightening it at a certain angle will somewhat tighten the screw down..when I first got it I checked all the other screws and none of them would tighten besides the one thats in now.. to fix it I just stuck some 32 gauge kanthol in the screw hole and it tightened down fine.. a lot of these seem to have tightening issue unless I just didn't get the right screw for the negative terminal?

One more note.. I'm thinking that when I pull the kanthol around the screw to support it into the threads it may tighten down without having to put kanthol in the threading hole before placing the screw in.. will try this on my next rebuild but its making sense in my mind right now. My build today I didn't use enough kanthol so I couldn't really hold it around the screw to pull the screw into the threading.. just had it pulling right straight out and and not all the way wrapped around the threading so there was no tension pulling the screw towards the coil.. we'll see if this works.. if anything i asked the seller for replacement screws.. ill update later on tonight.

I had the ssme problem when I got mine. I emailed the seller and he immediately sent me a new deck, along with another tank. It's a translucent tank that replaces the 3 sections of the stock tank.

I don't care for it personally, but it was a great gesture from the seller. Oh, he also included a postage paid label to send the bad one back.

I am loving this Kayfun. I'm especially impressed with the quality of customer service with this seller. I'll gladly buy more product (including a couple more Kayfuns) from him in the future.

He offered me replacement screws but I have a feeling this may not be the issue.. the black editions are now sold out which is probably why he didn't offer me a new deck.. I think I have some taps to rethread the hole to fit a slightly larger screw anyways.. if not I guess ill get an hcigar 3.1 or ehpro unless the black russian on ebay turns out to be great.. anyone get that one yet?

I think I bought the last one: when I placed my order, the auction indicated 9 left, after I payed I was returned to the page and it said 0 left.

I don't have the black edition, but wanted to share in case it helps. I have a tobeco kfl+/R91 clone. I found that M1.6 x 3mm cheese head machine screws work well for coil screw replacement. Added bonus mine are 18-8 SS, so stronger threading. Slotted head, so need a different screwdriver though.

I bought from amazon. Amzn.com/B00917TWNO

Well I should have my replacement screws tomorrow. I really hope that fixes my negative post. I have had the tank for almost a week now and haven't been able to use it. If the screws don't work. Hope the seller can come up with a solution with me otherwise i will want to get my money back.

in the mean time if you have 32 gauge kanthol (maybe 30 will work too) you can take the negative screw out of the post, put a piece of kanthol in and have it sticking out. then press the screw into the post and it should tighten down just fine, its how ive been doing it for the past few builds. Im sure theres a way to use a tap and rethread the post hole to a slightly larger size to use another screw to fit it which is what ill be doing if my replacement screws are a no go.
