Thanks Bronze. Sorry I feel like a complete idiot ordering this stuff. They're telling me that they use 20ga and I don't even see 30ga on their site. Can you recommend a place for these extras to create the wicks? Also is it the same ring for the regular kayfun? And when you say no insulators - do you mean don't order them?

There are no dumb questions Lord. You're investing a lot of money in a kayfun and you want it right.

20 gauge is off the charts. Get 30 gauge (link below). I'd get 50 feet. Also get some 1mm or 1.5mm silica wick.

For Kanthal A-1, 30 ga. (select using drop down menus): Kanthal A1 Resistance Wire - Lightning Vapes

For Silica Wick: High Quality Silica Wick - Lightning Vapes

Yes, a Provari ring will work on all Kayfuns (as well as many other devices). The spare parts bag did not contain insulators. I'm not expecting mine to deteriorate. But that's just me.

There are a few sellers on eBay, and one or two vendors with them in stock... looking.... looking....

Rocket Rebuildable Atomizer 4mL (Kayfun 3.1 Clone)

Rocket Atomizer RBA Kayfun 3 1 Russian 91 Clone Rebuildable Tank Best Vapor 510 | eBay

Rocket Kayfun V3 1 Russian 91 Rebuildable Atomizer Clone in Color US Shipper | eBay

Rocket Atomizer RBA Kayfun 3 1 Russian 91 Clone Rebuildable Tank Best Vapor 510 | eBay

I could have sworn there was one more vendor listing... but it's not showing up in a search with the words "rocket kayfun 3.1".

Thanks a lot SoF. I'll get those in my Favorites. I appreciate you digging up those links.

You don't need the PV ring for the Provari to work with the KFL, it's just for appearance (see photos). I have been buying wick and wire from eBay. 100ft of Kanthal for under $6 from the manufacturer, Temco.

Thank you Bronze, will give it a try!

After a thorough rinsing of all your Kayfun parts, let it sit overnight and you can dryburn and put it all back together. I have a clean burning juice so I can go 3 - 5 tanks before I clean/dryburn. YMMV depending on your juice. Vape quality will improve after a good cleaning. If you said you went a week and a half before it got wonky then plan to clean your Kayfun once a week. Monitor from there.

One more thing slightly off topic - I was on InTaste and noticed some 3400 mah panasonics. Anyone try these in a Provari? They seem to be the right size, but how high the button extends could be an issue. I've been using Orbtronic 2900's but would like to try these as well when i order.

Never tried those batts. I stick with what Provari recommends. AW IMR. I gt them from Super T. Go to ProVapes site and look over their battery recommendations and/or write them with any of your questions.

Thank you as well. I knew it was for appearance sake, but I just wanted to make sure i got the right one. That's a great suggestion about the manufacturer. Another question - how much liquid does the KFL hold stock and is there anyway to expand it?

You can get the chimney extensions and spare tank parts from svoe's site. The KF goes up to,what,...15ml's i believe with all the extentions added on.

EDIT: But it is very large at that size.

Roughtly 4.2 - 4.4 MLs. You can get a chimney extension with a tank extension and take it to 8Mls I think.

Could you imagine a fully extended Kayfun on a Nemesis in 18650 mode with a Kick? Talk about a personal security device! Beat a mugger over the head with it and then blow vapor in their face as you walk away.

Good advice, it's so reliable I tend to overlook it needs a little maintenance :)
Seems like a good rinse and dry burn will bring it back to 100% flavor production.

Temco sells the wire on eBay, great price for 100 for so you can experiment and build without worry about running out of wire.
