KayfunLite has been running excellent, absolutely no problems to date, they can be finnicky sometimes, but otherwise they're a great unit.

My Reo Grand arrived today, and I built exact same microcoil/cotton setup on it....to compare KFL-REO

The reo grand, folks, is a whole next level of vape.... The way the reo soaks the wick is the trick, and the flavor and vapor is something I have never experienced, although the KFL would be a good second place. I cannot believe the vape I'm enjoying, and I wish I had'nt waited so long.....

My wonderful KFL setup is going in the classies today, if anyone's interested...It'll be a complete package

0.8Ω gets a nice vape on the KFL. One of mine, which was 1.0Ω on built, became 0.8Ω after a while of use... and is doling out the goodies. I'd suggest you not to go any below though... unless you are a vaping God that is :)

Ok thank you, so does my coil look tight enough and at right height?

That's a great package right there sir. That's pretty much what I'm rocking right now. I think I may throw my Paps up on the classies. Got an X yesterday and it's PHENOMENAL

Unrelated to the subject at hand but, please convince me to stop buying crap and just save for my 2nd KFL. I was about to place a $75 order with a Kick2, two Panasonic NCR18650PF 18650's, an 510 to Ego adapter to run my EVOD's on my Neme Clone with the kick, and a 50ft roll of 28g Kanthal.

Convince me that I need a 2nd Kayfun Lite more than I need all this. Please!! I don't know what to do!!!

I'm also running out of my favorite dessert juice, half way down my all day 555 bottle and wanting to order a bunch of samples of different NET juices. God I wish I could just make all my clients could pay up all at once.

I kick 2 that I would sell you $30 bought it for my neme and I hate it it just sits in my drawer with my kick 1

SHORT???!!!!

So my KFL is firing fine on my Provari Mini, nothing strange going on, ohms reading 1.1, then I put it on my GP Paps and I think it's shorting? I fire it, it fires for a second, then stops, and the button (switch) gets as hot as a ...., take the batteries out, and they're hot as well. Anyone know what's going on? I'm using AW IMR and Efest IMR 18350's. Something is definitely not right, and I'm afraid to mess with it anymore for fear of KABOOM! Any thoughts?

Question for the experts: Air Bubble

I don't always get that little bubble of air to pop up inside the tank when I take a hit on my KFL's. It works and wicks well enough, but what do I need to do to see both or even just one channel release that little air bubble with every drag?

I find that I have to manually get it to release that air bubble by either taking a dry hit or by covering up the air hole in the base for it to show up.

Is this just bad wicking? or am I missing something?

When mine does that I know it's time to replace my cotton. Sometimes it does it with a brand new wick so I usually turn it upside down til all the juice runs down then put it upright again. I usually see a huge bubble going up so I know it's wicking again. Right now my 3.1 does not see any bubbles and I know it's almost time to change wick but still no dry hits so I'm thinking it's just wicking slow.

For sure shorting, probably the floating pin (is it floating?) is pushing against the screw on the KFL's 510 and causing it to go to the side.
Also make sure the screw is tight but you may have to open it to keep the positive block in position while tightening. Look at the gap around the KFL's 510 screw and see if you can make it move to the side.

This is assuming that only a problem exists while using only the KFL

Mmm, looks more like adjustable

Dustaroo, I'm not seeing air bubbles with every toot. It wicks fine so I don't worry about it. Just me.

I've got 5 weeks so far with heavy daily use from my wick and coil (silica), every time I open it to replace it I end up dry burning and putting it back together. Next tank I'm just going to give in and change it I guess, but it's still working sooo good.

With yuh there DW. In fact, I just disassembled my KFL this morning. It's drying now. I have no Earthly reason to rebuild it because the wick/coil combo keeps kicking ..... But I just got in some 28ga so today is the day I put a new set of duds on this bad boy. A man has got to play with his coil now and again. :)

My GP PAPS came with two sizes of the telescoping screw... I have changed to the thinner of the two for use with my KFL and have eliminated my problems. Twice before the KFL did get warm..like the mod was firing when sitting. Hope this makes sense...

It was a brand new wick coil combo I setup last night. I guess I'll worry about it if it starts misbehaving. Thanks gents!

Congrats -SMT-. How's the draw of the RM2 compared to the KFL? Thanks.

Just got the KFL in the mail today and I've been vaping on it for about 4 hours now using a micro coil (1.3 ohm) and cotton wick. Although it doesn't have air control the draw is good for me not too loose or too tight. The draw on it is tighter than the 2mm hole on the Zen atty but a little less tight when compared to the draw on the DID (1.2 mm hole) atty. The flavor is very good (for me equal to the Ithaka or Ody) and vapor and throat hit are outstanding probably surpassing the Ithaka and Ody.
Add to all this the ease of building a wick and coil and the build quality makes it a home run for me. I own a couple of KFL clones and they vape just as well but the real deal KFL's build quality and looks sets it apart from the rest. I'll probably get one or two more in the future.
