Some have had a little success with cotton and this type of build, but this hemp seems to be the trick....or at least one of them

Micro/Nano is another part of it....as well as getting the packing density right on both the tight wrap around the coil and loose filler on the sides.

Done right you can hit a low ohm build with a lot of power 20+ watts. Its a pretty versatile setup and I don't need to use that kind of power for my preferred vape, but I can take it to a true 20 watts on a dna mod and it doesn't burn.

Some folks have been doing a core wrap for a while, come share your results and experience in the Vcore thread please. All bcc's welcome.

Why did I try sub-ohming God? Now I really need to get a ton of Kayfuns and Nemes. At first the little EVOD/Mini Ego setups I got where surprisingly capable as backup/snack vape devices now they feel absolutely puny in comparison. I used to be able to go a few hours without touching my Kayfun with my rebuilt EVODs but now they are just not doing it for me. :(

I think I may post the first listing on the classies.

That's funny, I just sold my Altoids mod. I just keep a couple spare tanks with 1.25 and 1.5ohm dual coil cartomizers and juice ready. Was using those in bed as I was afraid my KFL would leak if I rolled over on it while asleep. I've passed out with it for 2 nights in a row now and not a single issue. Just gotta make sure it's all tightened up and it's as bullet proof as any DCT.

No need to worry about leaks with the KFL. The only times I've had it leak are because of user error like taking a sharp vape while covering the air hole by accident, over filling it or chain vaping it with hard draws over 20 minutes or half an hour hence flooding the atty. If not for those scenarios no matter how I'm holding it, if it's upside down, shaking about, rolling around it will not leak.

Quorax did the vape change at all with the Sony Battery at that resistance. I figured that Sony 30amp would make a difference only when super subohming like .3ohms.

I wouldn't dare go that route Sir, .3Ωs! My limit is .8Ω max ;)

These are the batteries I use on all my mods ~ and they perform nearly the same ~ which is: Wow! And all my attys are coiled at 0.8-1.1Ωs. I only use mechanicals:
^Here's my Top Batteries:
Top#1: Panasonic NCR18650PD
Top#2: Panasonic CGR18650CH
Top#3: Samsung INR18650-20R (Specially for Mechs)
Top#4: Samsung INR18650-20Q (Specially for Mechs)
Top#5: Sony US18650V3 18650 (For sub-ohms)
Top#6: Sony US18650VTC3 18650 (For sub-ohms)

Got a kayfun lite and I have to say its an incredible atomizer but just not for me. Draw is a bit too tight for my liking. I've seen people drill out their air flow hole but I cant seem to find a place to do it near me. Might just have to put it up for sale, we'll see...

I found the draw a bit too tight as well. You can get the Russian 91% which has air flow control. I left the air flow screw out and the draw is pretty airy which I like better.

Ha! And I think the draw, if anything, is too loose. :)

I wonder how folks are positioning their wick/coil over the air flow hole.

Is the KFL as airy as the Z Atty Genny or less?

RHP

Never used the Z-Atty Genny Pat. I had the AGA-T+ (that I since unloaded) and I find it near or slightly looser than that. I put the KFL on the loose end of acceptable. But this is no more than my opinion. But with all the devices I have used over my time vaping, KFL has been looser than average.

Never had an issue with the draw either. I find it perfect for me. I've never been one to do lung hits, and find the huge air holes on some of the RDA's that folks are setting up very very airy. Are the members that are finding the draw to be a bit tight, lung hitters?!
