ok ... i leave coil as is just changed cotton and made some photos..
first couple of pulls was ok, but after that problem is same = liquid in mouth :(

clean, new cotton

saturated cotton

i don't understad why I don't have this same problem on similar atomizers (taifun, aqua) with this exact setup, just KFL

Hmmm...your build looks Ok but I agree with nttdemented... I do position mine horizontally and lay the tails across the deck as stated below. If you're getting juice in your mouth...logic says it's over wicking and something is causing it. Try a horizontal build with the cotton tails laying across the decks but still over the inlets.

You arent laying your cotton on the decks to catch the excess. Liquid is pooling in the chamber and then getting spat in your mout.

Mout your coil diagonally and lay the cotton tails from one end of the deck to the other.

Ok, got back home from a long day about an hour ago and I came home to find my Kick2, 28awg Kanthal, 510->Ego adapter and a wider bore Ohman Elad Shorty drip tip. First of all the wider bore on this Ohman drip tip (made to fit the chimney right trough it to fit a Nano Mod in the future) fixed the slightly tighter draw of the KFL+ when fully open compared to the KFL so thats a definite bonus.

But now on to what really has me excited! I ripped out my 30awg builds from both my Kayfuns and made 2.5mm OD 28awg 1.5ohm 9 wrap micro coils for both of them and wicked them with a nice fact piece of cotton compared to what I could fit on the 2mm OD coils I was using before. Before doing so I tested the Kick2 from 9ish to 15 watts with the 30awg builds I had on them and anything higher than 10watts gave a burnt taste. Now with the new bigger coils these bad boys are kicking ... at 15watts maxed out on the Kick2! No burnt flavor, tons and tons of vapor and the flavor is through the ROOF!!

And even better I seem to have found the PERFECT build configuration for my Neme clone mod + Kayfuns + FusionsMods Hybrid Adapters. With the Kick2 I don't even need the delrin spacer that came with the hybrid adapters and without the kick ring. The switch sat PERFECTLY a bit past the edge of the main tube so there is no chance of the button catching and not firing! I'm so friggin happy right now!!! :D

Now I know I really want another Kick2 for my 2nd Neme Clone! (still in transit along with my HHV NET juice order)

:vapor:

As a bonus the performance of my EVODs running at 15watts kicked with the 2ohm 30awg coils I have in them is impressive to say the least! The only downer being that I need to use the kick ring and stock top cap that came with the mod so I'll have to carry those around to power the EVODs but the fact that they are working so well at this power level with no burnt taste and tons of flavor and vapor has me in vaping nirvana right now! And the EVOD's being stainless with chromed base makes them look pretty slick on the Neme!

Chain vaping mode until I run down my fresh 18350, I want to see how long this lasts before hitting the cutoff voltage at full power! I'll post pics once I'm over my excitement!

Hmmm, I'll have to try that when my tank needs a refill. I have the exact same problem!! I have 30 Awg @ 1/16th & I can't go as
10watts or I will get a burnt taste. I've tried 28 Awg as well, but that would also be burnt above 10 watts. So I can see with a 2.5 mm opening with more cotton should do the trick!!

FYI, 2.5mm is the outer diameter of the coil. I wrapped it around a 2mm allen key.

Oh... K thanks for reiterating that!

Update..... Ok, so I wrapped a 1.3 micro around a 2mm screwdriver, using 28 Awg kanthal. I was able to put probably almost twice the amount of cotton in the coil compared to the 1/16th coil. Right now I'm vaping it at 13 watts & so far it's feeding and vaping great. Now I am using the kfl+ & I did have to adjust the air flow just a little bit, but other than that, it is performing great.

I've found the sweetspot to be around 10 - 11 watts with both of my Kayfuns with my current coils. If I go to 13 watts and above I have to take primer puffs to help the cotton stay saturated and although there is a flavor boost with the extra power I don't feel it's worth the effort and attention required to make sure you don't burn the cotton. I might try and play with my build a bit to see if I can make 15 watts 100% stable when I get a chance but right now, 1.5ohm 28awg 2.5mm micro coils at 10 - 11 watts and they are working splendidly!

I'm finding at 13 watts, I'm only having to take a couple primer puffs if it's been sitting a while since my last vape. After that though, it will keep up for the most part, I have to say that kfl+ is performing better for me than the kfl was.I had to always do primer puffs almost before each vape & I was only vaping @10 watts at that point. I have to say that there is definitely something to the air control, at least for me.

The better performance with the KFL+ you are feeling is because the draw is a hair tighter even at full open witch forces extra juice flow into the chamber. ;)

My Kayfun Lite + finally has a mod to call a home on one of my Nemes! 2nd Neme clone arrived today, cleaned it, polished it and lubricated the switch. Had to remove some burs from the spot where the brass pin sits in the switch, nothing is perfect, but it will eventually break in perfectly like my first clone did. And yes, for some odd reason the etching on my 2nd clone is darker than the first one.

New Neme clone on the left running in 18650 mode with my original KFL on top, previous Neme clone on the right running in 18500 kicked mode with KFL+ on top.

Demented...did you get that Neme from Vaping Royalty (or is it Royalty Vaping)?

Vape Royalty, both of them. Weridly enough the new one had a lower serial number. Guess they are just random. Who cares right?

EDIT: BTW, got my massive HHV order in as well. Dark Horse, Serendipity, Heavenly Army, Shadow, Legend, Dragon's Fire and Huntsman 15ML of each 100% VG 12MG Nic. :)
