I really love micro coils and cotton in my drippers, what cotton did you use in your kfl? Any pics?

I use rolled cotton but the wicks have to be really skinny to fit in the micro coil.... wondering if rolled cotton will work or if I should try this square braid cotton wick I have that I havnt played with yet

I use the sterile cotton balls from cvs, they are in the first aid section. the rolled cotton should be the same as long as it is the sterile type. yes the piece you use is very small, but that's all you need. one cotton ball would probably make 20 coils. for the k-lite I made a 8 wrap coil, all coils touching, but in the middle I made a separation between the 4th & 5th coil. so I insert my cotton all the way through leaving about an inch of cotton on both sides, I then pull the wick up through the gap in the center of the coil, I bring this section up about a half inch or so and then cut this loop. this gets me 4 lengths of cotton to run down to the base. not sure about the braided cotton, haven't tried it. the cotton has great flavor and wicks the best. once you install the coil its ready to vape instantly. also whats nice about this set-up is that you leave the coil in always and when its time to install a new wick you just slide a new piece in. being that I use 26g wire, I bet my coil would last for 6 months. the only down side to cotton is that you would need to reinstall a new wick weekly, but this takes a few minutes, and its really cheap. silica is probably a great wick but coming from porous ceramic in genesis devices I just didn't care for the flavor, cotton however is really close to perfection imo. I have tried taking pics but my cheapy camera cannot go in that close.

Anyone been able to rectify the leaking problem with the fill screw ?

My LITE has no leaking. I saw a post here, were there is a small o-ring on the included screw driver. Use that o-ring on the fill hole screw. I have yet to look at the screw driver for an o-ring.

A very small amount of teflon tape fixed the issue for me. It wasn't really an issue though, I would notice maybe a drop of liquid on the top of my mod when detaching the K lite. I wouldn't worry about it leaking any significant amount of juice. But it was enough to bother me, and the teflon tape has held up as a good cheap solution. My intuitions point to varying tolerances of the screw itself to be the culprit.

How about an email, to them.......... pls!

If I don't hear from them by this time tomorrow.. I'll send an inquiry. I'm not in a big hurry, waiting is half the fun LOL (as long as the wait isn't too long!)

There's just something different about life when you have something nice (or anything for that matter) coming as opposed to nothing to look forward to. ;)

I'm not a very good waiter. I'm more the "I want it now" type. It's probably why I've never gotten into co ops or waiting lists. I've been known to get up at 2:30 AM in order to play the F5 game, when I know of a release date, like I did when I got my Roller.

I got a shipped notification from Vaperev on 17th at 1am. Not sure what to make of it but it usually ends up at my home next day.
I got mine @ 6pm (from VR). They most likely will ship them by noon today :)

I ordered mine from intaste yesterday morning and haven't got a shipping notice yet. On the site, my order is listed as "open"

That's a little strange. I placed an order with them on the morning of the 4th and had a shipping notification 45 minutes later. Of course my stuff got grabbed by customs and never made it here but I'm wondering if they're still dealing with that? I'd definitely get in touch with them regarding the status. Oh and of the 7+ emails that I exchanged with them, all of their responses were sent between 2am and 6am so just be sure to get your email sent before then, otherwise you'll probably have to wait another day before you get a response. And I don't think they respond on the weekends either.

Exact same status as mine. Its showing expected delivery by July 20th. I've got my fingers crossed hoping my mailman actually decides to deliver it on a Saturday. He's been getting a bit lazy with Saturday deliveries.

Mine ordered on 16 Jul, 45 minute later it was saying shipped out already, and today already in my country.. I think they have solve the problem with German custom, isn't it?

Great idea AJ, I used one of the oring's on the green screw driver included, it worked for 3/4 of a day then was worse than before. It was a terrible idea.
Anyway, i will try the Teflon. Thanks
