I need some help from your experience with filling and re-filling. On one "to the brim" re-fill I was getting burn hits. I took off the top cap, got the air bubbles out, emptied some of the juice, re-capped, blew it out from the air hole, and was OK.

I'm finding that I get the best flavor when the juice is below the clear section of tank when upright. Above that level, I don't get full flavor.

Any suggestions on filling and re-filling will be greatly appreciated, such as top fill vs. bottom fill, and how much. Thanks!

Oh, and I'm still on my original cotton wick after 3 days! Is that normal? How much mileage do you guys typically get out of a good wick?

Cotton wicks last a long time. They pretty much will last until you need to dry burn your coil, since you have to switch out the cotton anyways. If you vape very clean juices you can go a long time. I know the unflavored vapers go weeks on a cotton wick.

Yeah I am using 28 gauge and doing a cotton wick. I do appreciate the help and advice though from you and everyone else.
You didn't mention which specific clone you're using. I had problems with the Black edition from the eBay seller (privatedeal2010 I think) until I ignored suggestions for placement and put my coil much higher than suggested. I'm sure I linked to a pic of where I stuck my coil in this thread, just look through my previous posts. Maybe trying this will help. I get at least 4 full tanks on gunker juices now with a cotton wick with the high coil.

I wasn't sure if this had been mentioned yet or not. I borrowed it from the FastTech Forum:
fotogravinci_20140130_kfl-dripper.jpg

I get I nice warm vape from it in this mode. The reason for this is because the coil sits right underneath the drip tip.
By the way, it can also hold liquid in the tank if you just want a smaller device.
For illustration, it is just as tall as a Trident with an RSST drip tip on it.

Hope you guys enjoy it.

Update from user experiences:
Use a 2mm rod/drill bit to wrap a coil, and lift it up 1 to 1.5mm from the deck. If you make a bigger coil and sit it up higher, the coil will touch the top cap from the inside.
To get a better dripper experience, remove that airflow control screw completely. And use a drip tip with a big hole (Fatty or ming (RSST style)). This will allow for more airflow, and lower Ω coils.
Stuff cotton into the tank section to create a reduced chamber (Post /w pictures from user Lowtech here)
Don't forget to remove the small o-ring that sits underneath the topcap that slides over the chimney topper!
More pictures.
Thought you guys might get a kick out of seeing this. :D All you have to do is remove the chimney, chimney base, and the top two sections of the tank.
