Where did you get the nano kit? Curious because mine shipped today from Vivid Smoke.

I got mine from vapesourcela along with an orion cap. The orion cap had no finish issues unlike what some people are posting. I called the manager of the shop and he was cool with replacing it and apologized. Seem like good people.

New trick I just found inadvertently for those with dry hits after a refill. Pull out your drip tip, then put it back in while covering the top of the drip tip hole. This forces air into the tank, which will then force juice into the chamber. Can flood it if you're not careful, but it can jump start the wicking pretty easily.

Isn't doing a few primer puffs without firing the KFL+ pretty much the same thing?

Anyone here vaping 50/50 PG/VG juice in their KFL's? Does it work/wick alright? I generally vape 70/30 or 80/20 but have just received a couple samples of 50/50 that I'd like to try out.

I've got a 1/2 tankful going on a 1.5ohm coil, wicked with cotton set at 10W.

Just want confirmation I guess that folks are not having issues with half and half. :)

If you've got enough fingers, try putting one over the airflow hole also. Should help with flooding.

It's all I vape in my black edition. No wicking issues once I really figured out how much less is more with cotton.

Everything I've thrown in my Hcigar Kayfun 3.1 clones wicks without issue, and that's including some eLiquid that I couldn't get to wick in any Aspire/Kanger tank.

With the Kayfuns I think it's more about the wick itself rather than the system.

I use mostly 50/50 juices, and a handful of much higher VG.

I definitely subscribe to the "less is more" philosophy! Seems to be working well for the last 20 minutes or so that I've been using it.

Thanks for the confirmation as well!

Hyuk. My juice typically range from 30% VG to 100% VG. 90% are 50/50 though. All is good over here :D

Need a little advice! I've been building coils for a couple months now and while I was building a coil for one of my kayfuns, I got a little confused if it mattered how I mount the coil. What I mean is if I do 7-8 wraps and each tail ends in opposite direction, one wire is under and the other end wire is on top so does it matter how I mount it?? Probably a dumb question but it had me thinking as I was mounting the coil!!

I know you pretty much found your answer already but heres another pic. I find the shorter the leads the better, this is why I do angled coils for the most part but it depends on the length of my coil. if Im doing a longish type coil I definitely angle it because if it is mounted straight the length of the coil is too long and the leads would end up past the screws. if im doing a smaller coil I then mount it straight.

Good ole Boba's and gorilla juice. :D

And I'm always vaping these fellas on a vertical build, which is always slightly harder on wicking. But all's good on this side of the pond.

Hello all. I need some help troubleshooting this mystery. I got my very first KFL+ (authentic) about 2 weeks ago. My very first build was a great success, then at some point the flavor went from KABOOM to almost none. Plenty of vapor, no dry/burnt hits, just no flavor. I've tried everything I can think of to solve this, and am out of ideas, and hoping someone here might be able to point me in the right direction. Here are the details:

My Build:

Micro coil/cotten. 6 tight wraps on 3/32" (2.38 mm) drill bit, tweezed and torched = 1.8Ω every time, voltage on provari 3.7 to 3.9.

What I've Tried (without any success):

Wicking: Less wick, more wick, medium wick, longer tails, shorter tails, always out of the way of the canals, but at least resting on the deck.

Coils: Have re-coiled 2 or 3 times, and tried higher and lower placement over the air hole. My coils are beautiful and fire just right (from middle out).

Cleaning: Have totally disassembled, cleaned everything, dried and reassembled.

Airflow: Tried adjusting airflow: tighter/looser.

Juice (50/50 Ahlusion Maple Dream): After all else failed, I had to consider the unlikely possibility that I had a bad bottle of juice, so I switched to a tried and true and got the same results.

Filling: FWIW, when I top fill, I always get leaking through the air chamber after tightening the cap and releasing my thumb from the air hole. I always have to blow it out after that, but no leaks thereafter.

All o-rings seem fine and all fittings secure.

FWIW, I also have a Russian 91% using the same build with no problems.

OK Guys, what am I missing here?
